Time for something sexxxxy and spacyyyy from the secret underground house area. Gnork and Luv*Jam have been working together for more than 5-6 years now, doing lots of gigs, remixes, collaborative EPs, appearing on various compilations. They have always worked a little bit more than what they let us think, accumulating tons of unreleased gems. The time has come to reveal some hidden goodies and we're proud to be premiering one of these secret blorpers from their new EP 'Bonus Blorps', out on Crow Castle Cuts.

The original Blorp93 yellow vinyl surfaced in 2013 and was championed by the likes of RVDS, Bradley Zero, DVS1 and Wolf Music. Since this time, there have been a few secret cuts floating around here and there, some of which lots of people were 'demanding' to be pressed. Your prayers have been listened, those very secret Blorpers are here on one precise 12", and for starters you can listen to 'Sexxxx in Space' from Gnork's infamous Lost In Budapest Mixtape. Luv*Jam completes the secret space circle with some special dream nips. The Houseum Records family is proud to announce that it continues to grow with this new Various Artists EP. To fly to new horizons, Astro, Sunfleur, Harisson BDP and Aemone gathered a collection of 4 tracks with deep and dubby sounds.

Ready for a power takeoff with Astro? From the beginning, this track sends us to another planet with the bassline. And the hypnotic beats certainly make a spacey banger! Sunfleur embarks you in the ship Vostok 1, for a cosmic ballad mixed with sweet and nostalgic lines of synths. This very smooth groove and these robotic vocals make us float.

On the B side, Harrison BDP gives us a darker track. The gravity leads us to a real fusion of reverberating drum lines and entrancing pads, It feels like entering a black hole. Finally the trip ends on a smooth landing with Clouds produced by the Belgian "Aemone", we want to land on the clouds with this fluffy rhythm and these captivating vocals.

Lost Palms welcomes Astro, Edinburgh-based purveyor of space age dance music, to the family with Into The Past EP - a high drama record which builds you into a state of tension and won’t let you stop dancing.

The title track is a cavernous peak-time warehouse epic that tempts you deeper, leading into the muscular pulse of ‘Strange Object’. This has real Basic Channel DNA, minimalist but driving. Another beefy dub techno pumper, ‘Calipso’ stays close to the kick drum and showcases an infectious syncopated bassline. Razor sharp scifi B1 ‘Spitzer’ opens up into ear tickling reese bass and some classic Euro squelch; it leads in nicely to ‘Mars’, a dramatic centrepiece to the EP begging to be let loose on a sunrise set. ‘Celestial’ is the last track but the energy doesn’t let up for a second, making use of another growling sawtooth bass patch and the hint of acid style pads. The record feels like a trip into orbit and back - enthralling and clever, yet perfectly built for the dancefloor.

Calipso

Look Like makes his debut on Clone Royal Oak with a great four track ep! A fresh take on classic house music. Italo house, Balearic beat, Chicago's stomp and Detroit's funk all stirred up into a nice loose hybrid that seems to become Look Likes signature sound. Lovely stuff!!
