After both his EP release on our label and debut gig at ANTIDOTE last year, it was about time HUJUS was featured on our mix series. With his modern and signature take on the groovy 90’s sound, characterized by clean but heavy percussion, he is establishing himself as a prominent prodigy in the realm of techno. His signature groove is instantly recognizable and leaves no room for stillness when interacting with his craft.

While his music is being played all over the world by names such as Adam Beyer, future.666 and Marrøn amongst others, he himself got to play at stages such as Dockyard, Klub PAN, BASIS, Now&Wow and many more.

Pink Concrete's upcoming EP, Jazz Sultan [HNT003], is dedicated to Frederick Bruce Thomas (1872-1928), often called the Jazz Sultan. Born in Mississippi, Thomas overcame the hardships of the post-slavery U.S. and personal tragedy to build an extraordinary life through jazz-from France to Moscow, where he became the first Black Russian citizen, and later to Istanbul, earning his legendary title. The EP honors both his triumphs and struggles-celebrating his role as a pioneer who bridged cultures and left a lasting mark on the European music scene of his era.

Opening for Amotik and Inox Traxx in such a unique location was a great challenge - one we enjoyed every second of. CRØG began his project in 2022, exploring new sonic territories through hypnotic atmospheres and experimental soundscapes, characterized by textured layers and dark melodic patterns throughout his releases. His music has been signed to labels such as KPLR Label, Subsist Records, Concepto Hipnótico, Commonsense, among others.

His sound has received support from acclaimed artists including Richie Hawtin, DVS1, Justin Perry, Lindsey Herbert, Marina George, and more. CRØG is also the founder of KPLR Label, a platform dedicated to the deep, hypnotic, and raw dimensions of Techno.
