La artista audiovisual alemana Amelie Duchow trabaja en el ámbito experimental de la relación entre sonido, espacio y percepción visual. Su enfoque conceptual combina microsonidos sutiles y estructuras electrónicas complejas con articulaciones visuales inmersivas, creando obras que retan los límites de la percepción.

En la 19 edición de L.E.V. Festival, presentó su proyecto LOGOS MATER, donde investiga sobre cuestiones esenciales:

- ¿Cómo suena una lengua más allá del significado de sus palabras?
- ¿En qué medida nos influye el sonido de una lengua?
- ¿Cómo resuena en nosotros el sonido de una lengua?

La composición sonora de LOGOS MATER se inspira en elementos fonéticos y acústicos que exploran la esencia de las lenguas del mundo. Para ello, Amelie Duchow invita a personas de todo el mundo a participar en el proyecto mediante una plataforma web donde pueden grabar su voz. Estas aportaciones vocales son analizadas y transformadas por la artista, dando lugar a un proceso creativo de alteración sonora.

German audiovisual artist Amelie Duchow works in the experimental field of the relationship between sound, space and visual perception. Her conceptual approach combines subtle micro-sounds and complex electronic structures with immersive visual articulations, creating works that challenge the limits of perception.

At the 19th edition of L.E.V. Festival, he presented his project LOGOS MATER, where he investigates essential questions:

- What does a language sound like beyond the meaning of its words?
- To what extent does the sound of a language influence us?
- How does the sound of a language resonate in us?

The sound composition of LOGOS MATER is inspired by phonetic and acoustic elements that explore the essence of the world's languages. To this end, Amelie Duchow invites people from all over the world to participate in the project via a web platform where they can record their voice. These vocal contributions are analysed and transformed by the artist, giving rise to a creative process of sound alteration.

We are kindly initiating Zomblaze' current wisdom in music production, before twistedly reaching back in time to the second volume of Machinstruments.

The present material is holding on to moderate pace, and shares the common glitch-hop ground with his previous works. Only these tracks are more laid back, with less harsh stimulus on the nerves. The kick-off theme is RKs’ original version of ’Breathe Deep’, that inspired a remix take, and is an extension of the cover artwork, also by the hands of  RK. 'Stratosphere' gives the rock-bottom here, the other sounds are just gathering around it reflectively, unveiling a different musical perception of Zomblaze. 'New Age' has a gently improving, and cleverly shifting pulsation, that leads you through the whole EP unawarely, so much that you don't stop, until listening it all at once.

Etherwood - Unfolding

Astryd, a minimalist electronic pop music project, formed in the fall of 2012; its members are Krisztián Vranik, from the former Realistic Crew, (Krizso – composer, producer, live electronics), Zsuzsa Mészáros, the latest singer, who also runs a solo project called Marge (Marge – songwriter, singer, live instruments) and Kristóf Gulyás (percussionist, electronic drums).
Since its formation the group has had a crystallized musical concept and a fitting clear-cut image, which is characterized by large pure spaces, airiness infused into tension, and a heavenly warm voice contrasting the strict geometry.
Astryd’s style is white neon electronica, which integrates the essences of the post-millennium musical trends, yet presented them in a unique and stringent form. This is how Astryd takes its final shape as a special musical symbiosis, which condenses dark post-dubstep, minimal techno running on cold grooves and the slowly pulsating intensity of the live instruments.
Every gig of the project is a unique show, which is a creative mixture of precise dramaturgy, stringent minimalist theatre and musicality overwriting the unplanned, and it has no place for the unintentional.
 
Artists:
Krisztián Vranik (Krizsó)
The producer and composer of Astryd who is responsible for sampling and the synthesizer at live performances. He is the producer and founder of the legendary abstract hip-hop electronica band, Realistic Crew, the composer for plays, and co-producer of soundtracks of internationally acclaimed short movies and feature films. Beside his music projects he is the manager and organizer of some of Budapest’s coolest and trendsetting bars.
 
Zsuzsanna Mészáros (Marge)
Songwriter and singer of Astryd. Vocalist and MC of numerous Hungarian and international music projects, the composer of the theme song of Dyga Zsombor’s movie titled Utólér. She is the founder, songwriter and singer of the soul, jazz, trip-hop project named Marge. She also holds music therapy sessions.
 
Kristóf Gulyás
The percussionist of Astryd. He is also the drummer of Marge and other well-known bands and a program organizer at the National Institute of Blind.

Az Astryd minimalista elektronikus popzenei projekt 2012 őszén indult; tagjai a hajdani Realistic Crew-ból Vranik Krisztián, (Krizso – zenei producer, szerző, élő elektronika), a csapat utolsó énekesnője, a Marge néven szóló projekttel is rendelkező Mészáros Zsuzsanna (Marge – dalszerző, ének, élő hangszerek), illetve Gulyás Kristóf (ütős hangszerek, elektronikus dob).
A csapat megalakulása óta egy kiforrott zenei koncepcióval és ahhoz igazodó, letisztult arculattal bír melyet tágas, csupasz terek, feszességbe oltott légiesség és a szigorú geometriát ellenpontozó hang éteri melegsége jellemez.
Az Astryd stílusa white neon electronica, amely integrálja az ezredfordulót követő zenei trendek esszenciáját, de mégis egy csak rá jellemző, kimért formában tálalja azokat. Így jön létre egy különleges zenei szimbiózis végső formájaként az Astryd, amely magába sűríti a karcos, sötétebb világokat megidéző poszt-dubstepet, a hideg, barázdált szőnyegeken száguldó minimal technot és az élő hangszerek lassú, lüktető intenzitását.
A zenei projekt minden fellépése egy egyedi show, amely a pontos dramaturgia, a kimért minimalista színház és az esetlegességeket felülíró zeneiség kreatív ötvözete, amelyben nincsen helye a véletlennek.

Vranik Krisztián (Krizso)
Az Astryd zenei producere és szerzője, élőben a szempling és szintetizátor munkáért felelős. A mára legendássá vált absztract hip-hop-electronica csapat, a Realistic Crew alapító zeneszerzője, producere. Hazai- és nemzetközi sikereket is elért rövidfilmek- és nagyjátékfilmek társzeneszerzője, különböző színházi darabok zenei alkotója. Zenei projektjei mellett Budapest kiemelt, trenddiktáló helyeinek vezetője és programszervezője.

Mészáros Zsuzsanna (Marge)
Az Astryd dalszerő, énekese. Számtalan hazai és nemzetközi zenei kezdeményezés vokalistája, MC-je, Dyga Zsombor Utolér című film főcímdalának alkotója. 2010 óta a Marge névre hallgató soul, jazz, triphop projekt alapító dalszerzője és énekese. A zenei tevékenység mellett zenetarápiás foglalkozásokat tart.

Gulyás Kristóf
Az Astryd dobosa. Több kultikus hazai zenei formáció, többek közt a Marge dobosa. A zene mellett programszervező a Vakok Intézetében.
