sometimes our world seems to go up in flames...and just a little samba might be the pain medicine for our restless soul. Mixtape Paradiso door 21 is open and travels with us to the land of milk & honey where the sun always  shines, Brazil . One of the most dedicated collectors and experts of Brazilian music that I personally know is my friend Roland Lang, master of compactos and prowd owner of a vinyl washing machine ,a record flattener, many vinyl friends in Brazil & even a brazilian wife, beleza de mulher-> Juliana :) . Tudo bem, life feels better after listening to his mixtape recorded live at Waxsafari ,Perle Munich, believe me.

Vento na Pitangueira é um choro que compus bem ao estilo Jacob do Bandolim, escrito em maio/junho de 2017. Em 19 de agosto, data histórica, reunimos o Trio Cordal -- Alexandre Dacosta (cavaquinho), Ricardo Basbaum (violão) e Sérgio Basbaum (bandolim)-- após 36 anos, para fazer essa primeira versão. 
Peninha fez a percussão.

There is a lot of intriguing music streaming in the feed of the São Paulo, Brazil–based musician who identifies as Asvfuks on the SoundCloud service (and on Instagram, among other places). The track “A Divisão Do João,” by way of example, seems to be based on a snatch of music by João Gilberto, the bossa nova great whose picture is featured on the track. Gilberto’s voice and acoustic guitar appear to be heard at the opening and close of “A Divisão.” A loop of that initial vocal fragment steers the sample into uncanny-valley territory, while the accompanying shaker finds a semi-modern rhythmic contemporary in a broken 8bit beat that persists for the majority of the track, before it all comes to a close with a coda of the original source audio.
