Rising from Israel’s hotbed of talent, Maydan is an artist with an impressive story to tell. From bedroom noodling to highly-regarded resident DJ, the Israeli native has carved out a niche of sizeable proportions as he cements his position on the global dance scene. Since joining the Assymetric roster in 2015, he has also signed to an incredible array of imprints including Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat and Kaspersky’s Dear Deer, the future is definitely bright for the talented young artist.

Opening with ‘Evolving’, it starts with galloping percussions and vocal adlibs set to stun. Picking up the pace in the mid section with clever sonics and a tough bass, the break is a real oasis of sound that brings with it a sense of bliss and calm. Then the beat drops and your hands almost magically reach for the lazers! Solid work from the Tel Aviv producer. Next, ‘Locked State’, powerful drums and insistent sonics draw you in immediately. Growing in tension and pace, the pay off is cathartic even before the main break, after which the pressure intensifies for the perfect peak time anthem.

Agustin's recent debut on Sound Avenue's inaugural "Dimension" compilation with the track "That" garnered widespread acclaim and positive feedback from industry veterans. In late '23, he also released another EP on our 3rd Avenue sublabel, where he delivered an exceptional remix for St.Ego. Agustin Pengov is undoubtedly an artist to keep a close eye on.

Our late August Exclusive Mix episode is the work of Koen & Gijs, the Dutch duo better known as Callecat. Koen & Gijs both have been DJing separately and together more than 30 years. 

In 2017, the duo started collaborating for some studio work, inspired by the sound of artist like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J etc. Since then, they had many successful releases on Manual Music, 3rd Avenue, One Of A Kind, MNL, Magnitude Recordings, Future Avenue, Bevel Rec, Concrete Kin and 8music.

The latest release on AH Digital, Prihab by Randle & Gabriel Filip, is a captivating addition to the labels growing catalog. The original title track showcases the duos signature sound, blending deep, driving basslines with hypnotic melodies. Alongside the original, the release features three fantastic remixes that each bring a unique twist to the track. Gowzer delivers a remix with a dark and energetic edge, while DJ Bird infuses his version with an deep and mysterious groove. Gerardo Moro rounds out the package with a sophisticated remix that adds a touch of progressive flair.

Big Bells Records proudly celebrates a milestone with its 100th release – Reincarnation, a Progressive House journey crafted by German producer Monuloku, with a stellar remix by label favorite Chris M.

Reincarnation marks Monuloku's debut on Big Bells Records, but his musical story runs deep. Behind the Monuloku project is Sven Seib, a veteran producer from Darmstadt, Germany, whose career began in 1995 with Trance productions that found airplay on the renowned German station Sunshine Live. Over the years, Sven's sonic identity evolved — from the hypnotic drive of Trance to the refined grooves of Minimal, Deep, and Progressive House — resulting in the creation of Monuloku.

On Reincarnation, Monuloku delivers a rich, atmospheric Progressive House experience — lush textures, deep basslines, and a hypnotic melodic flow that invites both dancefloor movement and introspective listening. The original is complemented by a remix from Chris M, the Indonesian-born, progressive craftsman whose previous Big Bells releases have established him as a label mainstay. Chris M reimagines the track with his signature deep progressive touch, layering warm harmonics and subtle rhythmic shifts for a captivating late-night interpretation.
