Emerging from a small cloud sat atop a rolling hill, Local Knowledge appears with a new story in hand. It’s a damp, leather-bound, somewhat tatty edition, filled with musical adventures dated to a time before the orcs. The first page turns, it is simply titled ~ Knowledge ~

Knowledge begins here, with long[er] form music to enlighten ur mind.

Chapter One in this here sonic tapestry is weaved by Leipzig artisan, Tinkah - an artist we had the good fortune of releasing in 2022, as part of the Return to Nature series.

‘Apathy Is Death’ is a precisely engineered, restless and longing work of experimental bass music. Tinkah has created a sonic landscape that is both mesmerising and haunting. The fundamental note is tension as he speaks a tale of ego and its myriad manifestations.. highs & lows. Climax & anticlimax. Adoration & pity. A 12” quest through the taverns of retrospect.

Tina Lambardeta es el aka de la co-fundadora del colectivo de promotoras Karne Kulture, con el que desde hace casi cinco años promueven la seguridad en el ocio nocturno a través de diversas herramientas entre las que encontramos su protocolo para agresiones sexuales. La DJ y productora madrileña nos dedica en su cumple este mix con el que hacemos un recorrido en el antes y después que ha desfigurado la vida de oriente medio, heridas abiertas de la geopolítica en la vida.
