Scottish troubadour Dean Owens returns with his new single ‘The Last Song’, taken from upcoming album ‘Southern Wind’ (Due Feb 16th 2018).

Dean describes the ‘The Last Song’ as, ‘The first song that Will Kimbrough and I wrote together. We bonded through our mutual love of Ronnie Lane and The Waterboys. We wanted to write a kinda pub rock song for the end of the night and we just sat jamming and throwing in names of some of our heroes’

The Hungry Mothers are a feel-good Americana band from Brighton that draw influences from a wide range of artists that include Ry Cooder, Phil Cook, Grant Green, The Shouting Matches, Mississippi John Hurt and The Band. With a sound that is happy in essence but not without a sprinkling of sombreness, they have been winning over fans since their birth last year in January 2017. 

The Hungry Mothers are a four-piece band consisting of members; Archy Nelson (guitar and lead vocals), Harry Baker (lead guitar), Declan Haughian (drums and backing vocals) and Jack Hosgood (bass and backing vocals).
