Think of music from Cape Verde, and it's likely the first name you'll think of is the late great Cesaria Evora.  Well next we're going to hear from another singer who benefitted greatly from Cesaria's talent.  Fantcha was born on São Vicente Island, Cape Verde. She grew up singing in a musically rich household singing from an early age.  Later she was introduced to Cesaria Evora She learnt so much from her mentor and last year she recorded an album in tribute to her,Nos Caminhada which means Our journey.
Ata Ahli Ahebla caught up with her and she reminisced about the early days of Cesaria's career when they used to sing together.
