My dude Cee Dubs hit me off with the song and told me he needed a verse. Got the email, wrote the verse that night and recorded the next day. I find the song to be a fun, somewhat satirical, playful and energetic tune for anybody that knows the artists involved. Definitely some out the box stuff considering the parties involved. Big up to Clifton Derrell on the beat, hook and 2nd verse. B.A. and I wrote in similar "whatever comes up comes out" fashion. Black seemed to have a lot of fun with it too. Glad to be a part of this song.

Murder The Beat (w/ Clifton Derrell, BA and Mr. Black)

7 years ago, I was hanging out with my friends at Kindred Soul/B.U. Entertainment when my guy DNA throws on a song he had done the beat, concept and hook for already. It was a fun creative session that I thought was most likely the end of my recording days as I had quit recording a couple years prior. There was a spot on the beat left open for our friend Lazy (aka Joe Loveit) do get down on and this one got lost in the shuffle. I'm hoping that putting this version out will help stir up interest for us to get back together and finish the tune and release it on a forthcoming album. Big up to DNA, North and Saul Good for always being generous and inviting with their creativity.
