In this ever-more saturated, fast moving music marketplace, a track needs to be pretty damn special to not only break through, but then have a shelf life. Here at Selador, we're delighted to say that 'Playground' by Folgar, featuring an unforgettable vocal performance from Paula Os, has hit that particular jackpot.
And when the message came through from the man himself in Argentina that there was a tubthumper of a breaks mix lurking in the vaults itching to be unleashed (all crunching beats, shimmering synths and ethereal vocal snatches), it was all systems go for a full fat four track package.

Radikon regular 'Naeiiv' delivers yet another manifold masterpiece into his library of cinematic house operas. The south german savant invites us to 'The Puzzle', a collaboration with 'Several Definitions'. Both combine their production veteranism to create a riddled and complex manufacturing build around wide open melody arcs with a loose and simultaneously precise detuned edge, seasoned with stuttering synth shots over a hammering kick pattern. 

The introduction of 'Follow The Unknown' alone features more harmonic complexity than the majority of contemporary electronic music releases. This short but impressive melancholic uprising gets a twisty cut off to reveal the true nature of its artistic intent, which is nothing less than the revelation of a wild dance floor beast. 

'Falling Down' contrasts rhythmic simplicity born out of a carefully curated drum design with a borderline freaked out synthesizer orgy. Both elements are carefully placed over the intense arrangement in between warm safe havens of peace and quiet.
