London-based DJ, producer and classically trained musician Vindya is delving into her roots. Deeply drawn to music from a young age, she has continued to study the subject academically, and will soon begin her doctorate, researching ancient ritualistic and religious music from her heritage country: Sri Lanka. Given this background, it is not a surprise that Vindya identifies with a vastly repetitive, percussion-heavy, and hypnotic techno sound. 

She has flourished over the past two years, carving out a space for herself in the energetic, four-to-the-floor, and groove-oriented soundworld.

Her recent set for London’s FLUXO paid homage to her alternative, Dutch-born roots, largely selecting tracks by Amsterdam’s finest producers to forge a relentless and uplifting groove. 

With countless musical endeavours in the pipeline, such as intertwining these early roots, you can expect to hear much more from this eclectic artist.

We present a very special edition in our podcast, where the artist Lezther gives us 1 hour of Techno with music made 100% by himself, exclusive high-level material in the Argentine scene.

With less than two years as a producer, maintaining a lot of perseverance and dedication, Lezther managed to bring his characteristic sound to different parts of the world, releasing his debut EP on the national label Concepto Hipnotico, which encouraged and motivated him to develop and obtain a second place in a contest from the prestigious Soma Records label. To date, his latest releases were on the Spanish label Dark Forest and he already has many pieces to come out on other high-level labels.

Jerónimo Jorge, a DJ and producer who promises a lot in the Argentine scene, is in charge of the 008 podcast.

Biography:

Boytek is an emerging artist of the vibrant Valencian techno scene. He belongs to Impuls, one of the most consolidated techno collectives in the city. His style is characterized by the fusion of percussion, hypnotic sounds and raw textures.  Versatility and adaptation to the dancefloor are his strengths, which has led him to play in some of the best clubs in Valencia such as Spook and Club Gordo, or throughout Spain, such as Red Lux (Bilbao).

This recording is an important milestone in my artistic journey. The sounds you hear in this mix are sometimes from nature, sometimes from a building site, sometimes from a kitchen and sometimes from what I want to say. Instead of the usual rhythms, I mixed things up a bit more. It's normal to be happy and dark in this recording, just like life. It's a tape where I was inspired by different emotions and tones, and even though we got tense at some moments, we made it sweet in the end. 
Life is spent searching for rhythm in a chaotic dance.

Nico y Reda, conocidos como Aderal, son un dúo de música electrónica en directo afincado en el norte de Italia.  

A pesar de sus diferentes orígenes, su colaboración comenzó por el deseo mutuo de liberarse de las limitaciones de una pequeña ciudad. En 2016, decidieron embarcarse en un viaje para manifestar su propia visión a través de la exploración de espectáculos A/V, instalaciones artísticas y trabajos de diseño de sonido, elaborando gradualmente un sonido moderno y fluido que desafía los límites de la clasificación de géneros.

En esta visión, su enfoque en las actuaciones en directo desempeña un papel crucial, ya que realmente permite una total libertad de expresión.

La esencia sonora de Aderal teje un tapiz de influencias, mezclando elementos de una variedad de géneros de música electrónica, como el Techno, el Breakbeat y el Jungle, todos ellos perfectamente integrados en su estilo único y característico.

Este DJ set está concebido para mostrar varias facetas de nuestro estilo a través de temas de otros artistas, mezclando techno y breakbeat. Desde sonidos más suaves e hipnóticos hasta ritmos crudos e intensos, captura la esencia de nuestras actuaciones en directo.

Technoybass X Strike On | #113 | Aderal

Tommaso Severini, en arte Whoispit, es cofundador del colectivo Strike On, un movimiento de arte y música techno. El proyecto fue creado junto con Alessio y varios colegas que se unieron para dar vida a algo nuevo, en un momento en que la escena techno en Macerata estaba en descomposición.

Como promotor, las sesiones de Whoispit continuamente, dependiendo del momento, del evento y de la ocasión concreta. Sin embargo, la misión constante es crear un viaje que evoluciona de manera dinámica y rítmica, divirtiendo al oído. En sus sesiones, mezcla música de estilos muy diferentes entre sí, insólita y contracorriente, fusionando lo nuevo con clásicos del pasado.

Esta sesión es una reinterpretación de su warm-up realizado en Rusc, en mayo, con motivo del primer Strike On en Barcelona. Fue concebida como un viaje sonoro, recorriendo los temas que ha pinchado a lo largo de los años con Strike On, junto con temas más recientes. La idea es llevar el ritmo de los oyentes a un nivel tan alto que sea difícil dejar de moverse y abandonar la pista.
