Toy Tonics signed a band! Yes! After developing many DJ producers like COEO, Cody Currie and Sam Ruffilo now the Berlin imprint comes up with an electronic band! Baby's Berserk come from Amsterdam. 2 guys and 2 girls who studied art and fashion design and love 80ies dance pop dance bands like Talking Heads, New Order or the 2000’s LCD Soundsystem. They have a big love for 1980ies music and try to conect it with today's indie aesthetics.
You might know some members of the band from their other activities: One member of the band makes clothes for UK popstars like ADELE and the other band boss is Mano Hostelle. He is also part of Mauskovic dance band and other buzzed indie electronic bands from Amsterdam and Berlin.

The debut album of Baby's Berserk has been released in fall 2023 but here we come with a remix EP of their album. To introduce the music via the dancefloors.
Remix comes from Niklas Wandt (the German jazz drummer and lofi house producer.). The Indie rock hero Kris Baha did a remix as well as Nicolini (from world famous Mauscovic Dance Band).

Indie dance is coming back and Toy Tonics has the band for it! Kids will love Baby's Berserk!

In episode 9 of Audio Forage, we have an insightful chat with Will Howard, also known as anyoneknowsuki, DJ Huntsman, and Sniper1. Will is a genre spanning DJ, producer, and co-head of both Dolphin Flips Records and Weaver Agency. He began his musical
journey with a simple mission - to push the boundaries of sound.

An artist who has built a career on both innate talent and an obsession with all aspects of the music scene, Will's commitment to delivering authentic, high- quality electronic music productions and performances cements his place at the forefront of the ever-expanding global music scene.

We speak about community building, Weaver Agency's role in uplifting underrepresented artists, and Will's progression, influences and music journey throughout the years.

We also have a guest mix by Naarm-based DJ Liv Vicariously - friend of the show and no stranger to Area 3000. We loved seeing her play at Revs earlier in the year at one of our events, and we were so keen to have her on again. Liv is known to roll through, bringing anything from fun, hard house to alternative, ethereal heaters, Liv Vicariously - 'it’s in the name gorg’.
