Avid followers of Selected. will know just how much we rate the musical talents of Bristol-based producer Nu Aspect. Since debuting on our YouTube channel back in March 2017 with his impressive inaugural offering Things I Said, we’ve been fortunate enough to welcome Sam Higgins back time and time again over the last six years, for a slew of hits including Light, Said To You, What’s In My Head, Run Deep, If You Wanna, Miss You, Sleepless and Something Real, to name a few.

Now, returning to Selected. for his latest masterpiece, the prolific British producer adds to his incredible stream of studio output with the viral TikTok triumph, Sinner. British multifaceted artist John Newman debuts to Smash The House with his new single "Guiding Light," a meaningful, genre-bending, euphonious gem that's an ode to his newborn daughter. Newman's career as a singer, songwriter, DJ, and producer began in 2012 with his UK number-one hit "Feel The Love" with Rudimental. He then launched his solo career with the global record-breaking single "Love Me Again," which debuted at number one in the UK Official charts and went on to hit the Top 10 in over 30 countries, amassing 1,6B streams worldwide. For a kid who grew up on a council estate in a small Northern English town DJing on borrowed gear, Newman was shattering his boundaries to success from the start.
