It has been an incredibly special experience for us to perform in our little village that we built next to the magnificent Tree of Stories at Afrikaburn 2023.
Ubuhlanti means a sacred gathering, and it’s been a true celebration of African dance culture this year!  It’s an amazing feeling to play in the artwork we created, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is hard to put into words. The time, sweat, blood, and tears we shared are the stuff that makes friends for life. We’ll be back next year, see you in the dust!

About Prismode & Solvane:
Prismode & Solvane are lovers and creators of Progressive House & Melodic Techno. Kickstarting their residencies at well-known Berlin institution Ritter Butzke back in 2015, both artists quickly realised that they were an ideal fit. Think of Fish & Chips, Burgers and Fries or Beans on Toast, when these two get together it certainly gets tasty. 

Fast forward to 2022, and the duo have become an important part of the Ritter Butzke family and are heavily ingrained in everything to do with the brand. Prismode took charge as the Director of the club’s booking, whilst Solvane got on the airwaves with their very own radio show „Radio Butzke“ on Fritz Radio and as label manager or „Ritter Butzke Records“. 

It doesn’t stop there for the two music wizzards, whilst the club brand is keeping them busy, they have also enjoyed releases Berlins infamous labels „Katermukke“ and Oliver Koletzki’s „Stil vor Talent“. 

However, even though they love creating and meddling in the studio, what gets them really excited is to get together in front of a crowd and play, where things can get a tad rowdy. Famous for the energy they inject into their shows, which showcases their true passion for the music and brings their unique style to the fore, the pair have been globetrotting the big stages from London to Istanbul and Amsterdam to Ibiza.

Welcome Home beim SUBGROUND TALK, unserem Podcast für die elektronische Musikszene!

Für Folge #4 hat sich der Live Artist Andy's Echo mit unserem Host Moritz getroffen und über seine bisherige musikalische Reise und aktuellen Projekte gesprochen. Freut euch auf spannende Geschichten und sympathische Anekdoten aus Andi's Alltag und von seinen Gigs.
Andi released seit 2020 seine Musik als Andy‘s Echo. Er hat seitdem viele weitere EP‘s auf Labels wie Stil vor Talent, 3000Grad und Katermukke rausgebracht. Angefangen hat alles mit der Gitarre seiner Familie, auf der sich Andi das Spielen zuerst selbst beibrachte. Es folgte die Musikschule und das Spielen in einer Band. Erste Berührungen mit der Technoszene sammelte Andi rings um Frankfurt am Main wie im Szeneclub U60311. Nach seinem Studium in Heidelberg wagte er den Versuch, sein Leben durch Musik zu finanzieren, was ihm nach seinem Umzug nach Hamburg vor allem durch Straßenmusik und als Gitarrist in Cover Bands gelang und bald wagte er sich, eigene Band Tracks zu produzieren. Die Liebe zur elektronischen Musik verlor Andi nie, weshalb er wagte, seine Gitarren- und Vocal-Sounds mit Elektroklängen zu kombinieren, was ihm 2019 den Durchbruch für sein Solo Projekt brachte. Seit dem spielt er als Andy's Echo unter anderem schon auf den Fusion Festival, dem 3000GRAD Festival oder dem Afrika Burn in Südafrika.
