I'm happy to share my re-recorded 3-deck mix from Stalin Plaza this year. Since we had a recorder malfunction this version might deviate from what you could've heard at Stalin.

Amphibian x Stalin [Stalin Plaza, Prague - 8.7.2022]

On the last two weekends of January 2023 we exchanged some mutual affection with Vitamin, our favorite music pit and the best crew from Brno. We decided to immortalise the two long nights with a few small doses of Vitamin A extracts – five recordings from events in Prague and Brno.

4th part of the series is a mix by Atch22 recorded in the sanctuary of Vitamin's upstairs room on January 27.

For the next mix of our series with Šimon, I decided to contribute with something I’ve been digging for the past few months more intensively. Tribe and 170ish drum and bass and halftime. Combining a 4/4 beat with broken shit is my new fave thing so here you go<3 It also somewhat reflects the vibe our forest party near Prague at the end of August will have, so stay tuned and save the date - 25.8.23

For months we have been witnessing genocide and violence against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. Our community is based on values of solidarity and empathy and we cannot and won’t stay silent. Thus we are releasing under the ‘Transmission for Palestine’ project, native to our home club - Ankali. Our effort is to raise awareness of the struggle and suffering of the Palestinian people. We believe in anti-colonialism and freedom of the Global South from Western imperialism.

"Markham Road Records is back steering steady with atch22, Count, Rizla Ops, and Teqmun in the driver seats. MR003 finds form as a quartet of percussion providing some real bang for your buck. This release was dreamt up for quick stepping activity, and the four tracks assembled provide a wide ranging toolkit to get us all moving. Although each artist provides a unique solution, movement was and remains the underlying idea behind this third release. 

“sexta feira” finds itself on the borders of trance, dembow, and dubstep. Besides these initial patterning queues, atch22 also employs a variety of vocal stabs and modulation to keep the track moving. After a recent move to build a studio in Strahov Stadium (would definitely suggest looking this one up), atch22 has been back behind the monitors, with this track being the first product of his new musical home. The track defines itself in the world of peak time frequencies and fluctuates through a wide range of feelings."

Behind the monitors, he dives into his own imaginary worlds, guiding the listener on a journey through unexplored and sometimes impossible places. For this one, he offers us an exhilarating blend of the energy elevation of trance, techno’s punch, and subtle touches of breakbeat with a 5-track project (+1 bonus) that also includes a remix by atch22. This results in a high-BPM release full of energy, with an ultra-effective minimalist and progressive side.

The club was still completely full, so atch22 & Alpha Tracks stepped into the booth, and a spontaneous, trancey 4-hour journey began. I was so happy to see Felix quickly embrace our "endless playground" motto. Hands down, it was the longest Ankali night ever!"

We have been witnessing genocide in Palestine for more than a year, and since October 1st, 2024, Israel has invaded Lebanon, defying any moral logic. Our community in Prague has been organizing and spreading awareness in a highly Zionist Czech society for many months. Transmission for Lebanon is a collective effort to take a stance and support the cause of Lebanese sovereignty and anti-colonial struggle.

All proceeds from this album will be donated to the Lebanese Red Cross, Beirut Synth Center (who are in direct contact with local shelters in Lebanon and providing resources to the displaced), and Secours Populaire.

Our effort is to support the resistance and stand against the suffering of the Lebanese people. We believe in anti-colonialism and the freedom of the Global South from Western imperialism. 🇱🇧
