Notes:
[Lullabies (‘berceuse’ lit.‘cradle-song’ in the classical repertoire) have exaggerated,  though importantly not dramatic (as in melodramatic), melodic tendencies, including simple pitch contours and larger pitch ranges.

When there is harmony, consonant intervals are almost always preferred.

In addition to pitch tendencies, lullabies share several structural similarities. The most frequent tendencies are intermittent repetitions and long pauses between sections.

Rhythmically, there are shared patterns. Lullabies are usually in triple metre or 6/8 time, giving them a “characteristic swinging or rocking motion.”

The tempos of lullabies tend to be generally slow, and the utterances are short. Again, this aids in the infant's processing of the song.]

[A berceuse is a musical composition usually in 6:8 time that resembles a lullaby. Otherwise it is typically in triple metre (3:4).  Tonally most berceuses are simple, often merely alternating tonic and dominant harmonies; since the intended effect is to put a baby to sleep, wild chromaticism would be somewhat inappropriate. Another characteristic of the berceuse, for no reason other than convention, is a tendency to stay on the "flat side"; noted examples including the berceuses by Chopin, who pioneered the form, Liszt, and Balakirev, which are all in D♭.]

[A nocturne (lit. ‘of the night’) is a musical composition that is inspired by, or evocative of, the night. 

The modern (19th century) Nocturne, most associated with Chopin, is a single-movement character piece usually written for solo piano. The most common kind, of a Romantic species, typically features a cantabile melody over an arpeggiated, even guitar-like accompaniment. 

Nocturnes are generally thought of as being tranquil, often expressive and lyrical, and sometimes rather gloomy.]

Whispers float in geometric cries.
Navigating through the chaos theory,
Reality's edge, blurred and dreary.

In the echo of a fractal heart,
Silent patterns, infinite, never apart.
Orbiting a truth they can never seize,
Lost in the infinite loop, a paradox breeze.

Verse 2:
Mirrors reflect the illusions of space,
In the labyrinth, time finds its own pace.
Intersecting lines, dimensions entwine,
A dance of shadows, undefined.
