The time has come, we hit exactly 20 years since the launch of Dirt Crew Recordings back in 2004. An incredible journey lays behind us with so many discovered artists and even more amazing tunes we first heard as demo and brought to life either on Wax, CD or Digital. As we never look back too much we decided to not give you another “Best of” but instead drop 15 brand new tunes by early and more recent artists that have released with us in these past years.

The result is a really broad spectrum of what makes up the style of the label, from Deep House to Disco and Electronica to Electro, these fifteen cuts represent the richness of dance music in our little universe. Dig into this playlist and discover the Dirt Crew sound.

Toy Tonics presents a new EP by one of the labels lead artists: CODY CURRIE. The London born talent comes with 4 new tracks that combine neo soul and jazz funk with uptempo house music.
Cody usually plays all the instruments on his tracks working as the bassplayer, singer, guitar virtuoso and drummer and becoming one of the hot names in London's club scene as a DJ around 5 years ago at a young age. 

His vibe is similar to his the soulful and extravagant sound as these his heros had. Not needing any help from anybody. Even mixing and engeenering all his music himself.
Cody Currie’s sound is perfect for today’s DJ sets and fits with the current wave of funky house and groove oriented music coming from London that is taking over the clubs.

Ho passato gli anni '90 assieme a lui girando le discoteche di mezza italia. Da oggi finalmente sarà in tutti gli store del mondo un brano che ho fatto per lui, che gli ho dedicato.
Ciao Enrico, sicuramente lassù stai facendo ballare tutti con la tua Acid Jazz, spero che questo mio pezzo ti piacerà.

Toy Tonics delivers the 3rd pre-single of label boss KAPOTE’s upcoming 2nd album. BERLIN BOOGIE TOWN.

A future disco indie dance tune dedicated to his hometown Berlin in an ironic way. The city known for being the capital of techno and dark electronic music is changing a lot for 2 years. In fact, it’s not anymore a techno town but a city with a very diverse musical landscape with musicians and DJs from all over the world that create new forms of jazz, experimental, African, Latin and experimental music.

And of course,Toy Tonics has become a big part of that ‘new Berlin’ with its wild mix of new house music, Y2K sounds, Italian disco influences, new wave and indie dance vibes. The song ‘Berlin Boogie Town’ is dedicated to this new reality. And to the new party scene. While old Berlin clubs like Watergate or Wilde Renate close, Toy Tonics is a resident at Panorama now and makes party’s every 3 weeks in the most relevant clubs like OXI, RSO and others with up to 2000 kids dancing.

The song combines indie dance and Italo disco with 1980s Japanese electronica and some synth wave.

We come together once again to showcase Aterral's growth over the last year with an undeniably hard-hitting compilation. Our fourth anniversary VA is special, as it brings forth some of our most recent family members and puts them aside older ones.

As part of CUATRO we bring you Black Loops with 'Balance & Harmony', an elegant blend of eclectic sounds and a jerky guitar wah. Carlo & Baloo follow with 'Best Maldito', a track bursting with an infectious rhythm. Intr0beatz’s 'Where The Party At' delves into ambient depth with rippling synths. Marina Trench delivers 'Because We', featuring a playful piano melody and upbeat energy that pushes boundaries with its lively touch.

Caleb Jackson’s 'The Partylife' fuses high energy, gospel influences, and an acidic bassline. Tatie Dee & Ams contribute 'Underwater', a futuristic, bubbly piece with progressive elements. Emanuele Barilli’s 'Midnight Forty' takes us back to the 90s with a trance-infused, breakbeat house sound that resonates with nostalgia. 'Summer Ending' by Horsemen brings a jazz-swing groove paired with a deep, thumping bassline, perfectly capturing the wistful end-of-summer mood. Hardsoul - Back together (Saxons Bootleg)

Leon Raum is a prolific German producer, drummer, multi-instrumentalist and creative who has worked with several live bands and music projects across a number of different genres. These include instrumental electronic outfit Bokoya, whose style ranges from ambient to drum & bass and dub, as well as hip hop duo Wyl, a downtempo collaboration with DJ and producer Felix Fleer, and soul jazz project Wukan. Leon’s debut EP offers up snapshots of different periods of the producer’s process. Its title, 'Basement Meditation', comes from the fact that these tracks were made alone in the studio, where the emerging loops often created a trance-like meditative state. The loops are a mixture of analog instruments and synthetic sounds, and whilst the music is very much an independent, individual project, the artwork that accompanies it is drawn by Leon’s sister, Penelope.

✨ We are dedicating this one to the brother in glitz, Sam, Aka Bron, who passed away on November 23rd 2024 in Leeds, England. He is always with us and lives on through spirit and the beautiful music he produced. Half of all proceeds will go towards helping bring Sam home to his whānau. The other half will be donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, in an attempt to bring hope and support to children in need. ✨
