Ath Samaras (born 17 February 1948 in Greece), is a modern Greek composer (self-educated). His main vocation is a Civil Engineer, having the music as a hoddy. He loves to compose music, and share it to his friends, in all the world.
Ath Samaras began the self-training in music, during his Civil Engineering studies in Athens, since 1967. Later on, he improved his knowledge about music, history of music, of instruments, of harmony etc., by studying of every book relating to music, regarding the harmony, the art of composing and orchestration.
He composes by using PC and the relative music programs, composing "point by point" in the electronic pentagram, but does not uses any method of mixing. He constantly avoid to compose popular music.
Ath Samaras considers music as a hobby. Especially he loves the Classical Music, and his compositions categorised as "Contemporary Classical Music".
