Proverbs 11:4-8 tells us that we will all face eternity and our final destination of Heaven or Hell is determined by whether we are righteous or wicked. Fortunately, God has provided an easy way for us to gain righteousness, and entrance into Heaven, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Imputed Righteousness (Proverbs 11:4-8)

What flows from our mouths has the potential to be extremely powerful –in both speaking refreshing blessings or cruel, hateful and cutting words. As Proverbs 10-11 warns us about the ways righteousness or wickedness can manifest in our lives, may we be cognizant of our actions and the words we speak to bring glory to God in all things.

Do you ever find it hard to know what to believe these days with everyone making up the rules as they go, standards that seem like a moving target and people blurring the truth with their own agenda?  Proverbs 14:12 warns us about these things, but thankfully we can be confident that we can know God’s undisputable, immutable and absolute truth as we study scripture and seek Him.
