It was a huge honor to open up at Public Works for Dax's show hosting Seth Troxler. The goal of  set was to delve into some more discoey nu house. In the search for that I stumbled across a ton of new tracks I have fallen in love with. This mix is the set of those finds! With a little cameo from Bill Withers at the end (couldnt resist the soul):-)

It's been a couple of years since i've done one of these, but with the amount of good music that's been released in 2013 i really couldn't resist putting in the effort. The tracks that made it in this mix are the ones that really stood out for me and managed to still sound fresh after many plays, i've decided not to approach this mix from a club perspective because i didn't want it to end up sounding like just another live recording. i've been working on the tracklist all year, so i hope you guys enjoy it even though i had to remove 4 tracks from the end as Ableton wouldn't let me bounce the project because it was too big... DEEP HOUSE SUMMER MIX 2 - AHMET KILIC

Rachael Starr gave Dave a demo copy of this song in 2003. Dave immediately loved it but didn't really think Josh was going to so he never played it for him. But then one day almost two years later, Dave got up the balls to play it for Josh and, lo and behold, he loved it. So, in 2005 Gabriel & Dresden did a remix for this song which helped get it signed to Positiva Records as well as Ultra Music. 

One of our best-loved remixes to this day.
