For the 3rd year running, here's a mix I did for my friends down at Electronic Groove. Similar to my 2013 effort, this mix takes you from melodic point A to B with heavy hints of prog. Hope you like it!

This artist tribute is dedicated to POWEL, a Berlin-based DJ and producer renowned for his exceptional musicality.

With his signature beats, intricate percussion, and bewitching soundscapes, his remixes and productions take listeners on a journey to the very depths of auditory pleasure.

His style can be described as downtempo and relaxing, with some tracks evoking an experimental, or some a lounge-like vibe. Perfect for creating a peaceful background for work or for moments of tranquility.

In this tribute, I have mostly chosen to highlight POWEL's original productions, offering a glimpse into the brilliance of his own sound, rather than simply showcasing his more well-known remixes, that might have a higher popularity.

It was an absolute treat to perform this set at the Robot Heart residency. A fantastic space with excellent sound, closely situated to Burning Man's physical roots, celebrating a broad creative spectrum of music, lighting, and physical installation art — what's not to love? 

It was the perfect setting to debut this "A/Vfib Live" show. After 20+ years of making dance music and 10+ years working on LED art, the concept of a singular integrated performance of original audio-visual content had been slowly gathering steam in my mind. 

With this opportunity, the moment finally felt right. Huge gratitude to the whole Robot Heart team and the Defibrillator lighting crew for creating such a unique multi-media canvas to play on, for trusting me to explore new material, and for fostering so much creative development along the way. Special thanks to @shafferj for "seeing the light" many years ago and steadily encouraging this work ever since, from freezing our asses off shooting photos at night to developing supremely cozy butt-warming interior lighting environments.

All Day I Dream Podcast 007 : Death on the Balcony : All Day I Dream of Dancing

I like to imagine sometimes where the music will travel to. Who it will be given to or shared with. Whether it will be played at an after party in London or listened to on a set of headphones while watching the sun rise from behind a mountain in Tibet. I wonder which tracks you'll fall in love with instantly and which will grow on you as time passes. 

I know this is a really long mix and the journey into it and out the other side takes some commitment but, on the plus side, it saves you having to look for anything else to play for ages and ages.

 I hope you love the tracks as much as I do and thanks for listening.

Lee Burridge - Requiem For A Daydream

I'm happy to release this new studio mix for you. I've been releasing mixes much less frequently these days - I used to be on a monthly cadence, but I started working on this mix in July.

Counterintuitively, it gets increasingly harder for me to finish studio mixes, even though I think I'm a better mix-maker now. Sure, the newly added demands of touring, music production, event production, running a label, and home life all pull away from the time needed to complete a studio mix. But beyond that, I think there's a bit of an artist/curator's dilemma: the more resolute and refined I evolve in my taste, the harder it is to achieve satisfaction. Every track selection carries an increasingly large weight, every transition is held to a higher standard of detail, and more broadly, I constantly feel compelled to try to say something I haven't sonically said before. Otherwise, what’s the point?

I worked to build tension in the first half of this mix, much like stacking weights on a fragile plate of glass. Inevitably the glass breaks, and in this case, the ‘break’ is a literal one with the 2nd half of the mix inspired by 2-step, drum n bass, and experimental broken beats spiraling out of control.

I had a lot of fun with this one, especially after the glass breaks. Hope you enjoy listening, I hope you hear something from me here that you haven’t heard before.

Mila Stern plays music like a vole swinging a glow stick. Gently but firmly she pushes us forward. Little kicks in the back side towards happiness get us dancing on our toes until we want to cry out: “Whaaat?!”
Mila was musically raised in youth centres & squats, ripened in Tel Aviv to finally graduate to the best clubs that Germany offers. She prefers a course around 123,4 bpm, sliding through with some shorter and occasionally with longer transitions. Preferably well-rested. But even crumpled, she has surprised us with utter superiority!

Happy to release a new mix today. This one is an hour clip from a longer recording posted on my Patreon page.

When people ask what's my favorite place (outside Burning Man) to DJ, The Bow in Buenos Aires is always in my top 3. Argentinians have a passion for music that I haven’t seen anywhere else in the world (and really a passion for just about everything). Most track breakdowns are met with huge cheers, and even when the night ends, the crowd refuses to go home as they hang around after 6am demanding more music. It’s really a DJ’s dream. Another thing I love about The Bow is that it’s a 3000 person club, but the DJ booth is pretty low to the ground and within arm’s reach of the audience. The club has the perfect blend of energy and intimacy that holds a dear place in my heart.

This is a recording from my 2017 set at The Bow. Once this pandemic ends, I desperately hope to play there again. It’s a bit on the driving side, but takes a couple turns towards the deeper side to balance it out. Hope you enjoy!

Atish plays from the soul with a smile on his face. His charm flows as freely as his grooves, and his infectious personality is poured into every performance. The links he makes are not just musical but personal, too, as he communicates the highs and lows of life through his sounds. As an unmistakably warm person, he has quickly built up a dedicated fan base that feeds off his passion and energy. The Atish experience is about more than just dancing - it's about connection.

There is an intimacy and elegance to the music Atish plays whether it's deep house, Romanian minimal, artful techno, or emotive progressive house. Melody unites it all - whimsical keys and curious synth patterns that stir a wide range of emotions and get lodged deep in the memory. For Atish, the challenge is to lead an audience into unexpected new worlds: they won't know how they got there but will be delighted when they arrive. It's a subtle skill he has mastered
while never taking himself too seriously.

His own productions have come on cultured labels like Anjunadeep, Satya, and Stil Vor Talent. The Manjumasi Music label he co-founded with Mark Slee in 2016 deals in house with real heart and musicality. The aim is simply to work with artists whose music they admire; to give a leg up to those who deserve it, then watch them grow, whether with his label or elsewhere.

He is similarly open-minded and candid on social media and recently wrote some software to analyze a year's worth of playlists before discussing the results. He's also keen to demystify the often shadowy and secretive world of DJing and production and open it up to all, which is why he started his own unique party series, Late Night Tonite. Each event started with a sit-down interview with the guest and a conversation about the creative arts before the dancing began.
That now dormant concept led Atish to start his own mentorship program during the Covid lockdowns. He continues it to this day, with students enjoying one-on-one coaching, feedback, and advice sessions in which he shares what he has learned about all aspects of the industry.

In truth, this career chose him rather than the other way around: as a long-time and obsessive music collector, he was happy enough to play on the side around his software engineering day job. But he was making such a mark on the parties he played that word got out and the bookings kept on coming. He decided to throw himself into music rather than live to regret the missed opportunity and hasn't looked back since.

Atish has forged his own path and proven that DJs need not hide behind the music. Instead, Atish is right there to share the moments with you.
