“An all-out war against the monsters was started by the humans, believing that one day, monsterkind would betray them.”

“The monsters did what they could to defend themselves, but ultimately chose to surrender.”

“The humans, victorious after the surrender, sealed monsterkind underground with a magical barrier.”

“No one could come in, or out of that barrier.”

“As years have passed by, humans have fallen underground, and have perished.”

“The monsters currently have four human souls, out of the seven that they need to break the barrier.”

“Legends have been told of a singular soul that can change fate.”
