ASCENDANCE 002 - Aug 3, 2024

After hearing Lost Astronaut's track "Bloom" (https://soundcloud.com/lostastronaut12480/bloom-out-now-on-morphosis-records) a few times, I couldn't escape the nagging feeling.... had I heard that chord progression before? After playing it during a stream, it hit me - one of my favorites of all time, Tekara - Breathe in You, was almost a perfect match. Here is my mash-up of the two!

Ascendance 4 - February 22, 2025

Loved the vocals on this track, and having wanted to get into production for forever - plus knowing just enough Ableton to be dangerous lol - I decided to try my hand at giving it the breaks "treatment". Didn't know what to call it since it's not exactly a remix, and a bit more work went into it than a mashup... so it's an anomaly ;-)

I had my first ever "real" DJ gig back in June - here in downtown Orlando @ Oliv Bar - and had a blast! While I wasn't able to actually record the mix, I wanted to recreate it for posterity...
