I loved this track off the latest Dead Can Dance album so I thought I'd give it a little re rub. I tried to keep as much of the original in place adding some sexy beats and a touch of 808 Bass to hold it all together. A dubbed out jazz funk jam with hip hop inflections.  In this instrumental yoga mix, quirky, abstracted arpeggios evolve around tight beats and dynamic atmospherics, while hints of Dub FX’s vocal recollect other dimensional travel.  A tribute to the beautiful original by Snareophobe and Dub FX. Look for the vocal version on Atmaspheric's "TRANSFORM EP" coming out in April.

‘Atma’ means the True Self in the Yogic philosophy -  the self we connect with when we’re deep into our tunes, lost in music and beyond the mundane existence of everyday life.  The Atmaspheric music is more about the journey than the drop... but still has the sexy beats and body moving Bass frequencies that help us get out of our heads.   The deeper, less obvious stuff that fuels the more contemplative moments in our lives.  A little different from what I do under my other name FreQ Nasty, closer to my other projects the Dub Kirtan All Stars and Yoga of Bass.  I hope you like it.
