Released 15 years ago in 2003, “Shadows On The Sun” is a pivotal album in Brother Ali’s career. Beyond being his official debut album, the process of making the music for the album was instrumental in defining his artistic voice. To celebrate the 15-year anniversary of the album, Brother Ali, Ant, Slug, and Siddiq Sayers (Rhymesayers CEO), talked with Andres Tardio about the time leading up to Brother Ali signing with Rhymesayers,  and how that led to the release of “Shadows On The Sun”, including a song-by-song breakdown of the full album!
