Leesa, the talented lady at Atmosphere Records, has also a new EP ready. As we've got to know her, the style is very minimal but melodic at the same time. All wrapped up in a very sophisticated production. A dancefloor remix is done by up and comer Alec Troniq, perfect for the peak times of your night out. This EP will be released on Oktober 18th 2012 and you can preview it in this months podcast!

Atmosphere Podcast 004 - Leesa (10-2012)

The 15th instalment of Diynamic Music’s “Four To The Floor” series is here. By now they have become a go-to resource for DJs looking for dancefloor-oriented music as all tracks of the series have been heavily road tested and certified by label boss Solomun on his countless gigs all over the world, hence being great assets for peak time sets.
Opening the release is Dino Lenny’s “I Lost Appetite”, which is inspired by the classic 80’s track “Flying Turns” from Crash Course in Science. The band gave their approval of Lenny’s production and are credited as co-writers to this nostalgic chaser. Following up is Hamburg-bred Doctor Dru, with his similarly eerie and 80s enthused “Kloeppel”, a deep dark disco house track.
The second half of the record begins with “Roast” by The Organism, a very synth heavy melodic techno tune that slowly builds a dark retro ambience with almost mathematical precision. And finally “1991” by Berlin-based Budakid, whose dreamy house pads give this edition of the FTTF series a very round finish.

We told you that Congo Natty aka Rebel MC was more than a legend and now it's time to prove it. For your listening pleasure the one and only Uncle Dugs (Rinse FM) has compiled a mix that takes the listener all the way through Mikail Tafari's career, from the early Rebel MC & Double Trouble days right up to the last few years. 

Seventy eight minutes charting the birth and development of Jungle, the mix works as a perfect taster for the forthcoming Congo Natty opus, "Jungle Revolution." With the buzz around first single "UK Allstars" still very much in the air and a record to follow which delivers on Tafari's reputation as a pioneer, a fearless social commentator and a righteous Rastaman, this potted history of his career  should be the perfect taster. Get it now before we take it down again - the wickedest sound!
