Having swiftly descended from themes of the future and outer space he this time delves deep into Inner Space, with twisty psychedelic Drum Funk and Atmospheric breaks. The opening track 'The Ineffable' starts the LP with thunderous half-time beats before kicking off into an otherworldly journey. Spiritual, Psychedelic and Dream States continue as the theme, as choppy atmospheric drumfunk spar with more Tech-led beats as the LP takes the listener to the very depths of ultra-conscious states eventually ending on the catchy melodics and sublime pads of 'Dharmakaya'.

Thomas B makes a long-awaited return to Plush Recordings after more than a decade, delivering a fierce two-track release that captures both intensity and finesse in equal measure.

‘Heat Dome’ opens with shimmering textures and rich, layered leads before diving headfirst into a flurry of amen-driven percussion and thick, rattling basslines built for late-night sessions. Its weighty energy is balanced by a precise sense of movement, keeping the pressure high from start to finish.

On the flip, ‘A Friend’ takes things in a more introspective direction, blending liquid atmospherics with techno-inspired drive. Powered by crisp 808 kicks and claps, it drifts through lush stereo pads and a hypnotic lead that evolves subtly as the tune unfolds.

A triumphant return for Thomas B, proving once again that his sound remains as bold and boundary-pushing as ever.

Although drum & bass evolved from existing only really on dancefloors and into living and lounge rooms long ago, quality listening music with longevity and dancefloor cabability at the same time is almost impossible to find.  Thankfully, there are a select few who still consider production a kraft, not commodity, and the making of music a passion that brings pleasure, not as werk. United by this ethos and a love for analogue electronic sounds, genuine artisans TRIAD spent 2012 ensconced in the studio further shaping the essence of the sonic visions they'd already shared with the world into one solid statement of intangible intent - an aural essay in long play format entitled UTOPIA.

Predominately denizens of the deeper end of drum & bass with a distinctive sound and audible pedigree in musical manipulation, Triad present Utopia as an open invitation into their world: a lush, alluring soundscape of warm bass, cosmic space, nuanced moods and articulate arrangements not actually limited to one genre. 

A three track vinyl sampler including Kiss Me, Kill Me (feat. MC Kemo), Out of Scale and the EastColors remix of the title track Utopia will come along with both CD and digital download versions of the album in full length. Unique to the download bundle will be a special ‘unplugged’ version of Aftermath (off The Essence EP) with all parts played live as opposed to samples.
