Proud first collaboration between ATN and Alex FINKIN on this remix for this brand new french funk band from Montpellier called LENA & The Deep Soul.
We wanted it and made it to be a modest, vibrant and faithful tribute to our favorite musical background influences. It will make you think of a lot of things but it remains very personal and exclusive to us. It can sound like but it's never alike ! So let's dance !

Etienne aka ATN is like his model David Mancuso, a "digger" with a different musical approach to other current DJ's. Respect for the integrity and completeness of the tracks he carefully choses is crucial to him. Since he made his debut 6 years ago, ATN is a musical Gourmet who has displayed tatsteful Soul Food, Disco Funk Dishes, Jazz and Latin Flavors with Electric Grooves and Unexpected Covers in several fancy restaurants and trendy bars in Paris (CANTINE DU FAUBOURG, TANJIA, ALCAZAR, BUS PALLADIUM, DEPUR KLAY, ROTONDE, QUINCAILLERIE, DANNY HILS, TOUGH COOKIE SHOP, …). He promptly got into the DJOON Family, one of the best underground club in Paris, as an early and suportful member of ANIMAL HOUSE and MOTOWN PARTY crew, alongside founders DJ REVERENDP and talented multi instrumentist musician ALEX FINKIN (HAIR, ROSEAUX, ALOE BLACC). ATN carried on with his own before party called EAT SOUL DRINK VIBES at DJOON’s restaurant and also teamed up with famous parisian DJ DAVID STEPANOFF for DANCEMANIA, still at DJOON. In the meantime, ATN managed to lead a residency named TIMESTRECTH at bar LES DISQUAIRES, inviting great funk live acts before his dj set. 

In 2012, he produced "THE SWEED’N’JAZZY SESSIONS", the first swedish jazz funk festival in Paris, featuring the best musicians of NILS LANDGREN’s FUNK UNIT such as bassist MAGNUM COLTRANE PRICE, drummer IKIZ and saxophonist MAGNUS LINDGREN. More recently, ATN has become the resident DJ at NEW MORNING, one the most worldwildly acclaimed soul funk and jazz place in Paris, opening and closing for legendary live artists such as LEON WARE (with BLUEY from INCOGNITO, FRED WESLEY, Roy Ayers and present-day hottest singers like CHINA MOSES, AMP FIDDLER, BILAL, ED MOTTA. It was a revelation for him since he received the recognition of his peers as well as his idols. Since 2013, ATN has reached a new step, leading with 2 associates a new party concept named "KIND OF NEW" at NEW MORNING jazz club. Success is immediate and continues thanks to the involvement of artists like LES NUBIANS, CHRIS DAVE, SETENTA, OMAR, BILAL and DWELE.

2014, ATN has joined the Jazz Attitudes Crew (alongside PSYCUT and KOKO), providing the best and perhaps only Jazz Dance Party in France. He also leads his own concerts concepts, Soul (Brazilian and Funk) Successions still at NEW MORNING, focusing on tomorrow's rising talents (Lena and The Deep Soul, Hyleen Gil, Zamua).  
He finally selected and launched the "BRAZILIAN FUNK AFFAIR" compilation (on WSA Records).

2015, ATN is getting more and more involved in the New Morning venue, still djing as the resident, but also booking and promoting several events. Now he works for the brand new born webradio, New Morning Radio, as a selector, producer and editor.
