It is Sunday the January 25th and the premiere of the fiftieth podcast I present to you the legendary Anthony Rother from Offenbach am Main, Germany  !!!
The name Anthony Rother first appeared in Germany's vibrant electro scene with his first two releases, "Sex With The Machines" (1997) and "Simulationszeitalter" in 2000. In 1998, the producer from the city of Offenbach set up his own label platform "Psi49Net". With the release of his virtual electro-pop project "Little Computer People" (2001), followed by the album "Hacker" (2002), Rother firmly cemented his reputation as an important proponent of the electronic dance music scene.

In 2004, Rother's "Datapunk" label took over the reigns from "Psi49Net", heralding a realignment of his previous sound. Both his "Popkiller" album and "Super Space Model" (2006) were released to widespread acclaim from critics and the public. With the dawn of his newly coined term "moderntronic", Rother in 2007 embarked on a different route in his exploration of the symbiosis of electro and techno. 2008 then marked the release of Anthony's first fully digitally produced album, "My Name Is Beuys Von Telekraft". In 2010, Rother released "Popkiller 2", the sequel to the first Popkiller album both in terms of the logical progression of familiar motifs and as a retrospective of his own musical development since the first album. With a run of CDs released on the Frankfurt-based label Fax Records – including "62 Minutes on Mars", one of the label's fastest selling releases – Rother revealed the more experimental side of his oeuvre. May 2012 sees the release of Anthony's two newest tracks "Grid Stripper" (including a video track) and "Ape Machine" on his Datapunk imprint.

In addition to DJ performances at home and abroad, Rother continues to advance his hardware-based live activities. Using machines operated in real time, he has performed countless renditions of his live set at big-name events around the world. 2012 will see Rother debut his newest live concert format. Working closely with video and graphics artists, the new stage show will feature a form of dramaturgy that focuses more on the interaction of music and visuals. Both musically and visually, the two-hour live set bridges the worlds of art and club culture.

Ever since the start of his career in 1997, Anthony Rother has also managed to make a reputation for himself as a co-producer and remixer, working with some of electronic dance music's most notable artists. Besides projects with ex-Kraftwerk member Karl Bartos, Rother has repeatedly co-produced and remixed Sven Väth (both on his albums "Contact" and "Fire" and for countless tracks and 12"s). He has been a long-term production partner to Munich-based DJ Hell, including work on Hell's LP "Teufelswerk" (2009). Other work includes remixes for artists like Nena, Tiefschwarz, Ellen Alien, Thomas Schumacher and AUX-88 from Detroit in the US.

She has graced the decks in clubs across Los Angeles and San Diego, and while she's yet to take the stage at a festival, her reputation is steadily growing. Her influences span legends from the Detroit scene like Stacey Pullen and Delano Smith, to present-day artists such as Yokoo, Silat Beski, Traumer, Chad Andrew, Haider Uppal, and Zone+. These artists have shaped her sound, providing inspiration and fueling her passion for creating music that resonates with both heart and mind.

As a resident artist on the Chicago x Detroit Collective label, Transit Station, Rachspace makes waves with her unique curation. Her recent features include appearances on Voices Radio, London and Mantissa Label, showcasing her talent to a global audience. With upcoming releases on The Inner Child Podcast from Quebec and Satya in November, Rachspace is poised to make an even bigger impact on the electronic music scene. Rachael invites her listeners on a musical journey, crafting an experience that starts with groovy, melodic vibes and crescendos into high-energy euphoria. Her music is a celebration of fun emotions, a blend of comfort and exhilaration that can be enjoyed whether you're at home or out partying with friends. Enjoy the mix!

Hey everyone. This is Goldhawk here and this is my set from HATS (House & Techno Sounds) Productions at Kizuna on Brick Lane on the 8th November 2024. I had a great time opening up the launch event alongside JP aka Juan Pelazcano @jotadjok and Roku. Thank you Pablo for inviting me down to play and letting me play my full authentic sound. You lot are in for a treat with this 2 hour organic, tribal, progressive house journey and I finish it off with my most recent original production "Into The Unknown". The track is a very real culmination of everything going on in my life. It's been a tough few months to say the least and I don't know what's coming next, but I continue to remain my happy and hopeful self and I guess I poured that sentiment and feeling into the track. After 8 years, we are officially Back to IO. This is the 4th set in my downtempo series where I feature music not meant for the dance floor, but to listen to while on a road trip, cooking, on an airport, you name it. It felt good to put together songs both new and others from way back. Enjoy..

Born in bear country on the Atnarko River in Northern Canada, Atnarko channels his inner bear as he deejays and produces hypnotic dance music straight from the heart of the beast. Atnarko is considered a legend of the underground house music scene in the south. He is known for his DJ sets that extend into the wee hours of the morning, taking adventurous partygoers deep into his musical den.

He also produced some of the early breaks records that defined the genre as it was emerging. These include the classic, “Tunnel Vision,” cited as an early influence by Maceo Plex, among others. As his career developed, he went on to produce many records and moved into other genres, most notably house and techno. With close to 200 releases appearing on a wide variety of labels, Atnarko’s paw prints are firmly planted in dance music.

His label, Infiltr8:Celebr8, continues to set the pace for underground events in Orlando, booking dance music friends and heroes with great success, expanding, and elevating the city’s culture. He continues to walk this path, playing and producing music he loves, regardless of boundaries. Atnarko has told his musical story far and wide over his long career and he would love to tell it to you.
