REMASTER from an old analog mixtape for the '8AM Side' of my second mix tape DESERT FUNK, best copy we could find!  This side gives a nice window into some of the post sunrise, early morning  Moontribe vibes back in the early days. All vinyl like the 2AM, and a little rough around the edges mix-wise as well, this side features only 5 tracks but I had a lot of fun mixing them together and stretching out that first mix. Thanks to all of you sunrise lovers in the desert that inspired this side! Thanks again to Scott Cattanach for the fresh, original cover art, Ken Lawrence of Pure Acid Mixtapes for helping me spread the word, Moontribe for giving me a chance, LA DJ godfathers like Doc Martin, Steve Loria, and DJ Dan for their help and guidance, all the fans and promoters for their support, and of course the fabulous, rockin' artists who provide the music for this sonic journey.
