Born and raised in Santander, @p-e-a-r-l first witnessed electronic music from late 90s - early 00s sounds which played a fundamental role in his productions/ As a teenager, the Spaniard immersed himself within club culture and was immediately drawn to the harsh beats of British techno. 

2006 marks the starting point of his now primary outlet: P.E.A.R.L. releasing his first tracks on @tsunamirecs.
In 2012 he moves to Berlin and one year after he founds his own imprint, @falling-ethics Records, first as an outlet for his own productions and lately opening the doors to other creators like Umwelt or Oscar Mulero.
2017 is going to be a pivotal year on his career, with the release of his first Album, Temptation through Impatience, to be released on his very own Falling Ethics imprint and his addition to @polegroup.
Recently in 2020-2021, he unleashed a string of hard-hitting tracks and EPs such as Tribal Science on Hector Oaks imprint OAKS or We Will Not All Fall, the first release of his new Falling Ethics sublabel Moral Standards: A subjective look at the current Techno scene with music from artists like Matrixxman, Sunil Sharpe, VCO or Nene H. 

As a performer he is an excellent selector in the DJ booth, combining the pulse of pounding grooves in a very eclectic way, always making his sets an unexpected journey.

For our next episode we showcase @Takt_no from Oslo, Norway.
She has been a central figure in the scene, contributing to numerous music concepts and collectives and performing in places such as Melkweg, Amsterdam and Villa, Oslo.
This set is recorded at a forest rave deep in the woods from Norway's capital. Full to the brim with grooves and tribal influences and adding some of her own productions.

Merlina is a DJ born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, creator of her techno cycle called Ørnament. These last years she dedicated herself to nurturing herself as an artist, training as a DJ and currently as a music producer, where she continues to incorporate different hypnotic and groove sounds. Merlina is currently part of the roster of a national artist agency called Blastkick, and has played in various clubs in the capital and in the interior of her country, as well as internationally in neighboring countries and in Europe.

Uncage, the label curated by Marco Faraone, proudly presents the six-track journey, “The Overtones EP”, a collaboration between Marco Faraone and Yoav Nizri, a rising talent marking his second release on UNCAGE. Known for pushing hypnotic and textural techno, this release showcases their combined ability to craft deep, atmospheric cuts with relentless energy and precision.

“The Overtones” blends rolling percussion, pulsating low-end, and layered melodies, creating a hypnotic and driving experience designed for late-night immersion. “Ralaoci” leans into intricate percussion and evolving synth textures, balancing tension and release with a sleek underground edge.

“Other Expression” carries a warm, groove-driven flow, weaving basslines and subtle melodic layers into a sophisticated club piece. On “Organized Cut”, the duo explores percussive and groove-heavy rhythms, adding crisp textures for refined dance floor energy.

“Torin” layers atmospheric elements and evolving synth work over rolling percussion, building hypnotic tension throughout. Closing the EP, “Enhances” delivers crisp percussion, airy pads, and understated melodic drive, perfect for immersive late-night moments.

Tuscany-born and Barcelona-based, Marco Faraone has carved out a reputation as one of techno’s most respected names, with performances at Fabric, Panorama Bar, and DC10 and releases across leading labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, and Defected. His imprint UNCAGE has become a hub for forward-thinking sounds, with releases from Radio Slave, Mark Broom, Donato Dozzy, and new-wave talents like Anfisa Letyago.

Yoav Nizri, a promising newcomer, made his debut with his Elmot EP on UNCAGE and now takes a bold step forward with this second release alongside Marco. With raw energy and an ear for hypnotic textures, he continues to shape his identity as one of techno’s rising forces.

Live Performance broadcasted by the freetekno Uzumaki collective in an almost 72-hours non-stop live streaming broadcast of live electronic music performance acts and dj sets.

These sessions arose from the impossibility of celebrating the sixth anniversary of the Uzumaki collective due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although it was not originally scheduled, Uzumaki invited the artist behind the Notzing project as he belonged to the collective for a season, working on its creation and development.
