The Mist twists over the water,
in this riverbed grave.
Way back down the river,
where the repentant were saved.

No horses will drink here, 
they just lay down to die.

The wind blows through the desert,
with the earth at my side.
Red waste beneath me, 
dark clouds in the sky.

I look back down to the river,
watch you drown in the tide.
The chapel on the riverbed,
with the lost souls inside.

Wishing I could be back on my own
I could lay down and die.
Falling through space,
1000 times faster than light.
Stripping the meat from their bones,
where they lie.
Wishing that I could be
back in my own.

Astral Pain - director's cut

Atomic Cataract is a creative  project bringing together songs written over a 3 year period by Adam Smallwood and Ryan Morse.  Themes range from Insomnia, dystopian worlds and social dysfunction with tracks typically starting as hour-long jams which are recorded then cut down, re-arranged and re-written before adding vocal parts.

All tracks are recorded at HP Studios in Ringwood and feature studio musicians Harrison Perks & Andy Smooth.
