Formed in 2006, Atomites have gone through heavy changes over time. Starting out as an unsuccessful pop/rock-band, together with the infamous Sim (Lead Vocals) and Tam (Bass), the band found itself on the verge of destruction. When Sim mysteriously dissapeared after an alcohol induced evening, and Tam suddenly moved to Gothenburg (City of Goa Gubbar), only three members remained - Pontus Hultgren (Keyboards), Magnus Stenbäck (Guitar) and Fredrik Zlatkovic (Drums).

Broken down, without a clear vision of the future, the band was blessed with a new member in 2009 - Seb (Bass, Lead Vocals). Having kicked out all his former band members, Seb was hungry for vengeance. Having declared a Jihad against pop, punk-rocker as he was, Seb had trouble acclimatizing to the music of Atomites, ranging from Pop, Rock and even Metal-influenced music. Two years of hardship followed, as the band mates desperately tried to get along and find a sound they could all be comfortable with. The sound, the music and everything around it was nothing short of confusing. Many fights between the band members broke out during this period, and the world could only watch and wait for the inevitable to happen. 

During a particularly warm summers day in 2011, Seb declared he would be playing bass in Atomites no longer, but wished his former band-mates the best of luck in the future. The very same day, Atomites' keyboard was struck by lightning, splitting in half. Inspired by this clear sign from the Gods, Pontus Hultgren picked up a Bass-Guitar and cleared his throat to become the band's offical Lead Vocalist and Bass Player.

Rising from the ashes of their shattered relationship, Atomites reformed completely, deciding to rely on heavier influences in their style.

Today, Atomites have created two self-made Demos since the great reform in 2011, and continue to produce heavy rock music, as well as play gigs around Sweden.
