AZUL666 likes contrasts and enjoys mixing melancholic and ethereal melodies with groovy/hard beats focusing more on tracks’ atmospheres rather than on a specific genre blending hard/hypnotic techno with trance, hardgroove or electro. With her other alias Montaña Azul, she played downtempo, house and techno sets at numerous parties, festivals, and venues including Esoteric Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, My Aeon, Brown Alley, Rubix Warehouse, KissFm, Area3000 and many more. Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. This can be applied to our music policy, tilting the vertical axis resulting in a sharp area of focus without reducing the depth of field. The selective focus that can be achieved by both tilting and shifting movements, It's compelling because the effect is different from that which you may have become accustomed to. This movement is often used to avoid the convergence of parallel lines, or as we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur.
