Patience & Promise

A TORN MIND is an Edinburgh-based progressive rock band with a contemporary, melodic sound.

The band draw influence from acts such as Karnivool, The Mars Volta, Genesis, Thrice and Dream Theater to fashion their very own brand of youthful and modern prog rock. Sharp musicianship is coupled with an ambitious approach to song writing to create music that is bold yet listenable, and always melodic.

A Torn Mind have supported UK and International touring acts from a broad range of different musical niches, including Australian heavyweights Karnivool, U.S. rockers Taking Dawn, North Atlantic Oscillation, The Xcerts, Maybeshewill and Flood of Red. The band are set to release a brand new record in mid 2012.
