I’m a music fan as much as anyone else so I’ve been locked into the rap battle between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. The ‘Not Like Us’ instrumental was stuck in my head over the weekend, so I decided to look into the composition. It turns out that DJ Mustard who produced the record, sampled a song from 1968 by Monk Higgins so I sampled it myself, chopped it up into slices on my beat machine and blam, this is the end result I came up with! 140bpm, Grime vibes! 

I don’t usually put out free downloads but I have no plans to release it officially due to it being a sample based instrumental. I made it for a bit of fun so feel free to use it for freestyles or whatever floats your boat!!
