Tooflez are happy to present the debut EP from long-term member of the Tooflez family, Ida Bux. For a long time we’ve believed in Ida’s sound, her artistry and her dedication to the music - and so it’s a no-brainer for us to proudly present to you ‘Impulse Reaction.’

‘Exotic Detroit’ opens with a with a dramatic and ravey intro paired with MIA samples. Taking inspiration from early 90s/2000s hard groove, layers of full-bodied percussion, loopy melodies and vocal cuts, it speedily develops into big-room-ready-techno, but with a fun and energetic flare.

The same thing can also be said for ’Schadzowanka’. MIA’s vocals appear here again and throughout the EP, as a homage to one of Ida’s favourite influences (along side Detroit, breakbeats, and all kinds of hip-hop.)

‘Where is the Night’ takes the features of the first two tracks and marries it with breaks to reach the ultimate ravey crescendo.

Accompanied by two remixes: LuBeats euphoric breakbeat take on ‘Schadzowanka’, and ANDI A. gives ‘Exotic Detroit’ the Tooflez treatment.

Absolute privilege providing some Matakana Meltdown sunset magic for an epic crowd with an even more epic setup. Started very spooky with a Disclosure masterpiece opener followed by one of the most unique coolest tracks I've come across by Justin Jay & Chris Lorenzo. Went a bit tribal and dancy then wrapped with some heavy edits of singable classics as per usual.

Definitely far and away the best setup any of us had ever played on, echoing around the auditorium-like hill.
Maaaasive shoutout to everyone who helped put this together xx

Der letzte Track von gin in seinem elipamanoke - Set sorgte nochmal für extra Wirbel und Energie auf der Tanzfläche. Augen- und Ohrenzeugen berichten zum Teil sogar davon, beim zweiten Drop entgültig den Kontakt zum Boden verloren zu haben. Was sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt jedoch noch nicht ahnten war, dass es sich hierbei um gin's neuste Produktion "Get Lost in My World" handelte. Irgendwo zwischen dem Einfluss von Sounds vergangener Gigs und Produktionen mit neusten musikalischen Inspirationen bastelt gin für euch uplifting Hardhouse und Piano Breaks zum genießen und abtanzen.
