This beat was made in the midst of the devastating Australian bushfire season, which destroyed over 18 million hectares of land and killed over 1 billion of animals. Luckily for me, the fires didn't get to Melbourne, although we had to keep all windows shut because the heavy smelly burnt-wood smoke did enter the city and we couldn't breathe outside. 

With this song, I tried to capture a very somber tone thinking of all who lost their lives, lost their close ones, lost their homes. I also wanted to show that there is hope, and that far away, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Staying positive is so important, as it helps us to get through these stressful situations.
