F R A N K A [@franka_ogs, Berlin | GER] is a queer German DJ currently based in Berlin. She usually plays a juicy mix of House and Disco and played this year mostly in Berlin, some more known venues are Sisyphos Wintergarten or Kater Blau. She’s part of her hometown collective @ogeso and the newest member of @unseenberlin, which is a FLINTA orientated collective which regularly hosts parties and workshops in Berlin. Back in 2020 she was taught how to play vinyls in an old DDR Banana bunker in her hometown deep down in the countryside of Mecklenburg and hasn’t stopped ever since. Her passion for vinyls grew and she loves discovering new record stores all around the world.

Nach langem Winterschlaf ist der Palais Palett Podcast pünktlich zum Frühling zurück. FRANKA war nicht nur Stammgast hinter unserem hölzernen DJ-Pult, sie mischt als Teil der ogeso- und Un:seen-Kollektive auch kräftig die Berliner House-Szene auf. Mit diesem Mix beschert sie uns ein wahres Frühlingserwachen - den Groove fühlen während die Birkenblätter im Wind rasseln fühlt sich jetzt schon gar nicht mehr so weit weg an. Also anschnallen für FRANKA's satten und jackigen House-Groove, der im Wohnzimmer genauso gut funktioniert wie bald wieder auf den Open-Air-Floors der Region!

After a long winter hibernation, the Palais Palett podcast is back in time for spring. Franka has been a regular guest behind our wooden booth and is stirring up Berlin's house music scene as part of the ogeso and Un:seen collectives big time. This mix comes just in time for the seasonal awakening and evokes distant dreams of feeling the groove while green birch leaves dance and rattle in the wind above you.
