New number to come out the A Tribe Called Kotori pipes, here's a special delivery from Yerevan-based talent Socko and three-man outfit, Teel. Bridging over the lushest palette of house, broken beat, Afro-funk and jazz, all injected with a healthy dose of Armenian folk tropes within the same breath, "Soil" presses us through a cross-continental, all-embracing musical journey that lacks neither club-friendly oomph, nor mystique-imbued richness.

Lead-single "Soil" paves the way on a summer heartbreak kind of vibe, fusing the healing power of sun-washed harmonics along with mountain flutes, ancient incantations and prismatic synths in levitation; each bar swashing like that longed-for invitation to cast off and bring your senses back to life, eventually. A full-on jacking, future-facing affair laced with traditional choirs and instrumentation, "Reenno" takes its cultural DNA out for a fevered ride across far-out cosmic territories - where anchored folk tropes coalesce with club-optimised escapology to dazzling effect.

The further opaque, sludge-y motif'd "Yaman" busts even more obviously the "ancient-modern" dichotomy that innervates the whole of "Soil" via a cross-pollinated mash-up of desert rock riffs, Sufi-like ritualism and bass-fuelled floor dynamics. Weirdo chugger "Lava" translates its magmatic heat through jagged seesawing EBM synths and a more nocturnal energy, whereas "Peyote" returns to a luminously euphoric headspace through a surgically deft mix of African-influenced polyrhythms, processed traditional chants, wild riffs and entrancing darbukkah solos.

Coming all the way from Tel-Aviv via Istanbul, T-Puse and Menachem 26 join up for their inaugural drop on A Tribe Called Kotori with their lush and chugging collaborative debut, "Stav". Blending in the swaying roll of classic Middle-Eastern folk with processed club artillery, the pair develop a sound that pays a honest and forward-pushing tribute to the area's time-withstanding harmonics, throwing their all in casting a more modern light on secular musical tropes and reconfiguring them into vivid, EBM-oriented club material that lacks neither oomph nor soul, that is for sure.

Breaking the EP in, "Agafay" beckons us onto a hybrid pathway, astride tensile body workout wares and more oneiric-flavoured off-piste. As altered caravan rock riffs collide with snake charmers' melodies, further emphasis is laid on the potent but nimble bass which coordinates the groove to correspondingly hypnotic effect. A year on since the drop of their latest EP featuring Vincent Marlice, Berlin-based duo Acado reemerges on A Tribe Called Kotori with their anticipated new EP, 'Pathfinder'. True to their hedonistically all-embracing signature, meshing fragments of folk-infused techno and house, electro-acoustic bravura, Afro-funk-y swing and oriental mysticism, the pair shows off the width of their talents yet again. Soaked in a straight out balearic kind of ambience with its languid guitar riffs and coastal vibes pouring on a drip-tease flex, 'I Walk' melds a sense of Latin sensuality with a hi-tech feel to perfection, enticing us into a slo-burning dance around the bonfire. In the hands of Ausserdem und Ueberhaupt, the track reveals a further woozy affair at first, extrapolating the original's already dreamy character, then shifting gears and inoculating it with an extra dose of rugged machinic uproar and bassy horsepower for optimal floor-destroying effect. Taking over for our next transmission, here comes Hamburg-via-Berlin special disco forces Nayan Soukie, alias Amount, and fellow A Tribe Called Kotori affiliate, Madmotormiquel (check out his 2022-released ripper 'Bombo' if you haven't). Responsible for a stream of choice outings on their own imprint, URSL, and noteworthy detours through our good friends Katermukke's dedicated platform and Gerd Janson's seminal disco house haven Running Back, the pair clocks in with their collaborative debut on the label, 'Holiday' - a straight out bouncy fruit born in confinement and painstakingly polished into the blazing trio of heaters it is today over the last few months.

All in curvy syncopations and flashy, neon-woven envelopes, 'Lifou' breaks the EP in with undeniable punch and chromatic vibrancy. Engineering a fine mix of brightly hued arps and earwormy bass set against a prog-friendly momentum, Amount and MMM let their implacable sense of the groove and intricate tune-making do the talk. Trading the roundness of the opener's bounce for a more angular take, 'Amedee' breathes in a Detroit-ish influence to its driving build-up as flocks of crisp hats, volatile snares and incendiary bass coalesce to eruptively smashing effect. True to its idyllic name, the final number 'Ouvea' takes us on a journey across cerulean skylines and endless strips of white sands. Infused with a healthy dose of balearic abstraction, slo-burning electronica tropes and full-blown disco vox lines, the track has us drifting in-limbo serene all-blue Edens and a steamy sweatbox. The ultimate Ibizean house / balearic funk weapon, just let the groove get in.

Cut from the same immaculate, ethereal cloth that's come to define his smoothly oneiric style over the years, this new pair of bleached-out belters from the Berlin-based escapologist treats us to an effortlessly lush tableau of both wistful and dynamic electronica, tear-jerking and multi-dimensional in essence. Fuelled on kodachromatic beachside vibes and faux balearic-infused jazz, Rampue's sonic postcards are true poetry in motion, as their deep and largely dubbed-out flavours reveal themselves on a drip tease flex, fleshing out with unheard levels of detail and depth as you listen to them more attentively. 

A total mindtrip of a track and deeply cinematic object, 'Verfahren' embraces Rampue's hair-raising take on the classic electronica formula and injects it with an ambrosial nectar of uplifting trancey motifs and pixelated beauty akin to his beloved PS1 games' soundtracks.
