Starting as an EDM side project and releasing a long-since-scrapped EP in 2017, attackonthecoast diverged from their past experience writing pop punk songs as a kid. Later that year a hip-hop EP was released as a Soundcloud exclusive, followed by their debut Spotify/Apple Music track “Don’t HMU” in mid-2018. Throughout the years, many eras have come and gone, each highlighting the contrast between the tracks created with outside producers (such as: Why Be Happy At All? with lilsp00k) and the ones self-produced (such as Ctrl-Alt-Delete-U and Lmk the Other Line). With each of those eras, parts have lived on, all leading to a new era coming in 2026 along with attackonthecoast’s debut album “annoyfreak” that’s quietly in the works.
