Berlin-based, Franco-German producer and DJ Franz Matthews, alongside well-known happiness coach Jonathan Lehmann, have crafted a thumping, hypnotic EP that combines music and the practice of guided meditation as one.

We’ve collated remixes from a spread of some of the greatest minds in electronic music today, including Aera, The Organism and Milio, to create their unique interpretations of this pioneering project of mind and music.

Franz Matthews’s original brings a complex web of interlocking percussion rhythms that develop with unfolding synths throughout the guided meditation to reach a soul-shaking climax. Transporting us on a journey through the mind with a captivating piece of musical storytelling throughout.

Aera steps up with the first remix, carving out a spacious story that casts the spotlight onto the spoken word vocals from Lehman, combining elegant rhythms with contrasting layers of subtle harmonic movement and mind-altering synth melodies that engage the inner recesses of the brain.

The Organism takes things into a more aggressive, percussive direction, using his archetypal sound to traverse across the planes of your mind. Off-kilter synth tones collide across a punchy Moog style bassline and grooving disco-tinged drum machine grooves underneath.

Finally, Milio brings his distinctive club sounds to the blend. Mixing glitching rhythms with wandering melody lines that integrate elements of minimalism and techno into a joyous and playful reworking. Milio’s distinct ability to craft memorable lines that are equally unique and quirky closes this superb remix package off with finesse.

SKALA and Xinobi unite, in a collaboration that has been a long time coming and is rooted in a long mutual admiration of each other's work. The first signs of SKALA’s affinity with DTX came when she co-headlined an ADE event with them earlier this year, as part of the label Amaeo which she co-founded with her partner Theologos.

Described by Xinobi as a track whose conception started with the simple suggestion of "we should do a track together", SKALA is in good company with Xinobi as on "Electrified" they prove to be a sonic foil for each other, as after just a few attempts what emerged was a track that combined much of their personalities and unmistakable hallmarks as "Electrified" gradually builds and then soars with euphoria, inviting reflection as well as dancefloor ready moments.
