Closing out the summer season is always an important job for a Sosumi signing, and this year does not disappoint with a massive track courtesy of Matt Nash & Felix Leiter ‘Heartbeats’.
A pillar of label boss Kryder’s tour performances, the track has been picked up by the likes of Steve Angello and Deniz Koyu and has been constantly gaining momentum amongst the scene with plays at Tomorrowland (BEL), Mysteryland (NL) and Creamfields (UK) to name a few.

The track itself begins calmly, but as the vocal, “Your heartbeat’s racing” kicks in with a direct reference to the tempo of the track, the beat comes alive with a thumping kick and accompanying lead which together makes for another peak time weapon courtesy of Sosumi Records.

Sosumi Records enlists another soldier of sound to the ranks for their label debut. After months of speculation and global dance floor destruction, the creators of this monster ID were revealed to an absolute flurry of online activity.
Sebjak teams up with Jebu to create the percussion heavy, marching beat driven tribal screamer ‘Banshee’. 
The drums drive this track from the outset with hard hitting kicks layered with a snare for an intense buildup. The addition of the main drum pattern is the element, which makes this song and has given it the notoriety seen to date with a rolling, rasping hit that provides the marching feel that commands the dance floor. This coupled with the rave stabs, tribal grunts and climactic screams in the breakdown make for a truly accomplished piece of music.

To finish off a massive year for Sosumi Records we deliver a trio of tracks that have personified ‘The Sound of Sosumi’ in 2015.

To kick things off, Sosumi welcomes back the Italian powerhouses Nari & Milani - this time teaming up with fellow Italians Delayers, to create a ‘Hypnotic’ twisted, bass-driven sound, with plenty of groove to get your feet moving on the dancefloor.

Then Steve Powers brings the drums with the aptly titled ‘The Tribe’. Expect plenty of percussion, tribal chants and of course lots of groove!

Finally a mysterious ID that has been doing some serious damage in Kryder’s sets since summer and has been creating a storm online;  ‘Touch Faith’ from Thomas Feelman slowly builds to a point of euphoria then the kick drum drops into a deep, dark twisted beat that will get your shoulders rolling, head nodding and feet moving!

Axwell - Barricade

The Winter Music Conference buzz is ever present and of course Staar Traxx are on call to deliver another energetic, bouncing house masterpiece ready for release. Dutch resident Luca Perra teams up with American vocalist ‘Knifekick’ to produce the melodic ‘I Want it Now’.
Echoing the bright and energetic tones of summer looming, ‘I Want it Now’ begins with sensational percussion sequence with an almost tribal choir-like adlib until the breakdown reveals the so titled hook of the track. The mesmerising, airy vocal from Knifekick is met with the strong percussion buildup, which elevates the energy of the track tenfold, climaxing to the piano and lead drop, with almost a staccato melody ringing through the song, cut with a thumping, pumping bass melody, almost now a signature of a Staar Traxx release. Luca Perra and Knifekick have certainly lived up the standard, which is driving Staar Traxx further up in people’s estimations.
