"Childhood Daydream" is my heartfelt attempt to capture the essence of those fleeting moments of imagination and wonder from my youth. The sax, with its reminiscent feel, became the perfect instrument for me to convey the ethereal nature of these daydreams I had as a kid. With each note, I aimed to transport listeners back to a time where the world was filled with endless possibilities and innocence. “Childhood Daydream” is an ode to my younger self! I wanted to pose the question of how beautiful life can be - Are we daydreaming or is this reality?

Govinda Jaya Jaya

The Pan-European Picnic is a remarkable event that celebrates the rich cultural tapestry of Eastern Europe through food, music, and shared stories. Inspired by the historic gathering on the Hungarian-Austrian border in 1989, which played a pivotal role in the fall of the Iron Curtain, this event brought people together to experience the warmth and diversity of Eastern European traditions.

Held at Quiet Time and the DJ set recorded at Sky Lab Radio, the Pan-European Picnic invited attendees to indulge in home-style dishes based on cherished family recipes. Guests savoured the flavours of warming soups, hearty stews, smokey cold cuts, and, of course, pickles. As they enjoyed the culinary delights, the music transported them to the heart of the region, with a soundtrack provided by talented DJs András, Attila Móra and Zoltan Fecso.

During the event, Attila Mora delivered a two-hour musical journey that encapsulated the spirit of the Pan-European Picnic. This DJ set was a melting pot of cultural delights, blending European, Hungarian Contemporary Music, Turkish Psychedelic Rock and Spanish guitar themes into a seamless and genre-less mix. From the soulful melodies of Hungary to the vibrant rhythms of Turkey and the passionate tunes of the Mediterranean, Attila Mora's set celebrated Europe’s rich cultural diversity.

Recorded live at Sky Lab Radio, this set showcased the diverse sounds of the region and represented the spirit of peace and unity that the original Pan-European Picnic symbolised. Attendees enveloped themselves in this boundless feeling, the deep connection offered through music.
