At Trust in Wax we love remixes. Especially when Atwashere flips, bends and twists tracks which are way opposite from his usual sample sources. This time we are really happy to announce a very own Spezialversion of "Follow Night" for Small Strides. Those fine dudes allowed Atwashere to feed his vintage gear with a lot of their alternative guitars, bass, drums and vocal sounds. In result we are happy to release a not so typical, fast and driven version of "Follow Night"! Complimented with some deep subs, plenty percussion and driven synths this tune becomes without any doubt an official ANTITYPE song. Please play loud!

This one is special! Atwashere collected some field recordings at the famous cultural venue Zeche Carl in Essen. He knocked on a golden coffin, lost a game in table soccer, shook some empty bottles of beverage ... in short: He was allowed to record a variety of sounds backstage to catch its vibe for his Audio Give Box Project. "Sample Carl" was created at 100% throughout this inspiration.

This collaboration is all about our love for remix culture. Your favourite labels "We Keep Shit Dope Records" and "Trust in Wax" are teaming up to release their 1st mutual tape! Both are united by the idea to support Downslow with his idea to create a six pack of alternate versions of his beloved "Doom, Dub + Dosenbier“ EP. As a result „Dosenbier recycled“ showcases six plus one twisted reworks which range from dancehall driven vibez, atmospheric electro sounds and deep rooted house up to dope beats with snappy snares and booming kicks. Enjoy the contributions by Tapetower, Atwashere, quadratschulz, Heavynoiz, Chatterbox … and of course Downslow himself! As a bonus you’ll also find a very special cover in a black metal stylee by the infamous Grabgesang!

Put the needle on the record and tie your dancing shoes: After some deep studies of "sine wave"-ism and „handclap“-istcs at the University of Vintage Gear, Atwashere switched on his trusty MPC 3000, plugged in his SP 202 … and grabbed some vinyl to let go! His new tune is mainly about a moogy baseline, some rearranged humming voices and plenty chopped piano licks. We are really happy he returned from his beat lab with a slow disco mover like this! Enjoy.
