It's been two years since @Vindata members Branden and Jared launched their production and DJ project. Since then, they've released a debut EP on Kastle's Symbols Recordings, remixed A-Trak, Ellie Goulding, Alex Metric, Odesza, Clean Bandit Jack Ü, and more, reached multi-millions of plays on SoundCloud and signed with OWSLA, who will be releasing their upcoming 'Through Time And Space' EP (out Aug 14th).

Their sound, which has grown and adapted alongside both the club and festival scenes over the years, has always been rooted in catchy melodies, human grooves and forward thinking production. Their upcoming EP takes elements from each of their previous original and remix works — bright and energetic chords blasts, hi-res tropics, and dynamic pop structures — and pairs them with a set of talented vocalists, further defining the duo's impressive approach to accessible dance vibes.

Alexander Lewis - Exclusive Mix - Beat Lab Radio 100

We've been following @xandg since Xian and Gaszia joined forces for their debut 4AM EP over two years ago, and the duo has grown in sound and stature since then. This summer, X&G made their NEST label debut with a menacing, noxious remix of cln's "Breathe," and at the start of the month they released their second album Persona, which keeps the hard bass scene on its toes.

Though the album's three biggest singles were freely available six months before the album dropped, Persona still surprised with a smattering of deep tunes in its back half, like the powerful "BELONG" or the absolutely bat-shit "Hate Machine" (which they discuss in our interview). The time is ripe for X&G to bring a NEST HQ MiniMix, and indeed they have slayed forth on this one, which traverses a lot of territory but never ceases to go hard. Cheers to X&G for another great album and an exciting year to come, and thanks for the awesome MiniMix! He's collaborated with legends BT, Tritonal, Slander, Mr. Bill, toured with acts such as Infected Mushroom, Liquid Stranger, Seven Lions, and has music released on numerous labels like Monstercat, Armada, Owsla, Enhanced, and Wakaan to name a few.
