When SLANDER gave me their outlet to express my vision for “Unity EP” through Heaven Sent, it marked a big shift in my career. I was so honored and grateful. After the ep dropped, SLANDER took me under their wings for a few show opportunities, which helped plant a seed for my career. It put me on the radar, and allowed other dreams to come true, like the 2 month bus tour I recently embarked on with Dabin & Rome in Silver. Their humbleness and consistent support for the underground inspired me to set out on a new mission - I wanted to help some my favorite underground musicians plant their seed like I was able to. I brought up the idea of a Unity remix package, and SLANDER greenlit it! I knew it would the perfect opportunity to bring light on some of my favorite underground talent. Some of the artists on the pack are more established, like Mazare and Similar Outskirts, and others are smaller artists who have never had a major platform like this, such as Cloudsight and eccentric. I wanted to make sure no 2 remixes were the same, so I tried to pick a collection of artists that make drastically different genres, including Cloudsight and Driftcat’s which venture out of the Electronic realm entirely! I’m so proud of everyone involved and I’m excited for the world to hear what my team and I have curated!

Au5 (pronounced A-U-Five) is the solo project of Austin Collins - presenting a highly matured balance between intellectual, emotional, and danceable music. From hard hitting technical dubstep, uplifting melodic trance, psychedelic bass, experimental ambient music, and everything between, Au5 knows no boundaries for passionate musical exploration and expression. “A producer’s producer”.

Classically trained since age 4 and producing and performing since 13, Austin is a well rounded musician, visual artist, and educator. As an articulate public figure presenting unique artistic, scientific, and philosophical perspectives, he strives to better the world through inspiration - opening minds to what is possible not only within music but within ourselves.

From his debut album ‘Minimality’ in 2010 to now, Au5 has been consistent in quality and authenticity with a repertoire of nearly 200 released songs - many with multiple millions of plays. He's collaborated with legends BT, Tritonal, Slander, Mr. Bill, toured with acts such as Infected Mushroom, Liquid Stranger, Seven Lions, and has music released on numerous labels like Monstercat, Armada, Owsla, Enhanced, and Wakaan to name a few.
