Mad4Mat

from last year, when i would come more and more often and then not to Inlab's Friday life drawing sessions. sometime even being one of the modells, upon the set was over. also, notoriusly late, from a 3 hour sesh, with a few technical breaks. the flow somewhat follows the flow of the night as well.

Accidentally someone took the headphones from Inlab and I decided to give it a go without it [ hence the title unplugged ] from a playlist [ MidtempoMat] that I know very well and I thought I could manage. Mistakes were made, but overall I think it turned out just fine. Was fun at least.

was just happy to be back in Inlab for an impromptu session for the foundational national holiday of my weirdo country. so i played all the weird tracks from my ultimate playlist for an introduction to anything, the longest standing collection i am running for the most eclectic music that have found me on my musical journey. thank you all for contributing. long overdue outside session, under the archways of Bårom Specialty coffee & Bar in Budapest, right up until the musical curfew [ gratitude to Max for the possibility ] ... was in a bad mood, and in these cases i always play something of a more dark mood, hence the "dark disco"ish set [ also had to carry a vintage Orion speaker, a very heavy amplifier - which needed a change of the influx capacitator ... - and the decks on foot, which may have contributed to my fowl mood ... ] but at the end the speaker - never tried or tested and a gift of my a close friend Mr.Z - worked marvellously and lovely friends and my brother showed up for the hardest part : the beginning setup. so thanks for all coming - yes, dear, you too. <3

mad4mat | something new & bouncy 001 [ 2025-08-19 | @Bårom ]

I had the lovely opportunity to take a long overdue vacation in Yerevan, rising out of a strange situation of a dear friend and making a new one in the process - and having the best impromptu booking agent for Armenia by Pasha. Thank you to the enthusiastic folks of Mansion and 13:20 for inviting me. I made a promise that I mean to keep, so I will be back next year <3

FYI : i went quite silly at the end, as per usual, we had a crazy neighbour and thought we had to finish at 10 pm sharp, but then ended up hitting another 40min afterwards :D
