Grassskirt produces downtempo music with equal parts Balearic warmth and Scandinavian sophistication. Groovy feel-good beats with a penchant for the grand, cinematic motifs, created with a mix of acoustic and electronic elements.
 
Grassskirt, aka Jørn Kristensen, released the critically acclaimed album Hey Music Lover back in 2003 and has since focused on DJ’ing. Returning now to the Music For Dreams label, he is planning a second album, which is set to drop late 2025.

We had the privilege of closing out Heinz Hopper with a nearly 4-hour set Saturday morning for the annual Kater Blau x Zero gathering in Berlin. A true highlight every year and it just keeps getting better.
