Pandora’s love of jungle music started way back in the early 90’s, complimented soon after with 2 turntables and mixer, plenty of DJ sets and a taste of event promotion which quickly spiraled to new heights. Crowned as being one of the most influential members of the Austria scene, her event Switch! is known across the globe as being one of the most lively places to attend, let alone the only place to hear her latest beats. Thankfully Audio Danger have the link up to bring this brand spanking 2 track release from Pandora to your digital music library.
Remember those bendy slices of data otherwise known as floppy discs? Pandora obviously does although we do hope she’s backed this banger of a track to her hard drive.. Full of atmosphere, sweeping pads, sneaky FX and risers with a hint of a nod to the past, it’s a big opening arrangement and then some! If the roaring low end doesn’t get you, the short and punchy snare arrangement will. ‘Floppy Disc’ will no doubt need a reboot or two on the CDJ.
You can’t call a tune ‘All The Massive’ without a sneaky MC sample right? Thankfully Pandora knows the score, firing all kinds of shots with jungle inspired one liners and breaks busting at the seams with layer upon layer of FX and progressions. You can’t also listen to this tune without noticing the sneaky bassline patterns straight out of ‘95.
Another solid release from Audio Danger proving that sometimes less is more, quality over quantity and all them ones.

Jamaican clash culture with the kind of thunderous drum & bass that could only come from the UK. Kingston Bass, out next month on Audio Danger Records, sees old-school reeses lock horns with spaceship basslines across four crisp tracks which roll back years as well as pick up air miles on their way to the dancefloor.
Hailing from Cambridge – the city that spawned d&b heavy weights Logistics and Commix – RAE started mixing vinyl some 15 years ago, before first trying his hand at production five years later. And after a decade spent getting to know the studio, honing his sound and sharpening his skills,
The very first release off the RAE production line is finally here in the shape of Kingston Bass.
Having experimented with everything from liquid to jump up, it is safe to say that RAE does not discriminate, taking inspiration from sounds across the drum & bass spectrum. For Kingston Bass the producer set himself the task of working up an old-school bassheavy record with cutting-edge techniques and an unmistakeable Jamaican edge, and every box has been ticked.
With faders set to stun, ‘Good Body Gal’ sails closest to Kingston with its Caribbean swagger and vocals before exploding into life as a growling industrial earthshaker. This winning formula pops up again on ‘Hands Up’, where menacing half-time gets things underway before laser-beam basslines take control. A neck-snapping middle section ramps up the pressure before another max-power bass drop.
Elsewhere, things are a little less chaotic – ‘Mad Ting’ is a certified weapon, its wobbling bassline twisting over amen-flavoured drums for a deeper, less abrasive cut. Meanwhile ‘Fireface’ is tough as old boots, a meaty slice of old-school d&b where gruff bass tone calls are answered by a heavy reese response.
RAE says he normally steps into the studio knowing exactly what he wants to make, but things don’t always end up the way he first imagined them. For him, creating a sound or finding a great sample can form the basis for a whole track, or radically change the direction of one which is almost finished, leaving the finished article sounding completely alien compared to its first idea.
The EP is out next month, dropping exclusively on Juno for a week on 06/11/2017 before a full release on 13/11/2017. It is being put out by London-based label Audio Danger Records, a lynchpin of the underground scene and an imprint which has been on the up and up ever since its launch in 2010, picking up support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, 1 Xtra and Kiss FM.

Following on from ‘The Shadow Web’, Masker is back with a bang for Audio Danger Records with this heavyweight double A side release. Fans of tech step, jump up and darkside rollers will all appreciate this huge chunk of goodness from this versatile producer.

Stinking vibes a run with ‘Blue Mondays’, a tune riddled with moody atmosphere from the word go. Perfectly hitched up with a basement rave or pitch black squat party, the combination of minimal tones and hard hitting snares create such a vibe that it really is a case of “stick your head down, nod to this”. Masker has really put the feels out here with huge slamming sub bass, marginal LFO jitters and sweeping pad structures.

Continuing the bad vibes with ‘Cold Fusion’, a combination of science fiction and an upset tummy. Growling rottweiler bass smack at 175 beats per minute, providing just the right kind of flavour to coax every single raver from the outskirts of the venue regardless of their state of mind. Midway switches roll out nicely so even running this track after the 1 minute mark is a possibility - imagine that DJs!

Two excellent tracks from the Audio Danger camp and with production levels at an all time high, this label is certainly one to watch out for. Steamrolling into 2018 with not a single working air brake in sight.

MASKER - BLUE MONDAYS / COLD FUSION (OUT NOW)

Following the huge release by Masker, Audio Danger are in no position to slow down and this brand new beast of a release by Ruxim slams nitrous oxide right into the engine.
‘Stay Repping’ is a barrage of beats and bass, a clever concoction of old jungle breakbeats, looped vocals and crazy twists that keeps you alert from start to finish. It’s as if Ruxim actually wants the dancefloor to represent in terms of more than one style and flavour as this tune certainly has that - a mixed bag of overdosed funk.
‘Dizzy’ however, is a totally different take on things and demonstrates the versatility of not only the producer, but the label itself. Darkside hardcore stabs and infectious beat patterns growl violently, coaxing those inna corner to skank that little bit harder, flick up a flame and bun down the dance.
Audio Danger know their roots, that’s what comes from living and breathing the scene for over 10 years and with a roster of artists working hard to bring the real vibes to the streets for 2018, it’s going to be one hell of a solid year.

RUXIM - STAY REPPIN / DIZZY (OUT NOW)

Komander Ground, one of Slovakia's toughest producers makes an almighty crossover to Audio Danger Records to represent some of his finest production to date. Combining the brute force of upfront jump up with a ton of superb vocals curiosity of Jimmy Danger, this EP bangs, and it bangs HARD.
‘Sparrow’ may have you thinking of a polite walk in the countryside but it’s certainly nothing of the sort. If sitting on the floor before jumping around like Sonic the Hedgehog on acid is your thing, then this really is going to get your blood rushing. Without a doubt a future anthem and one that’s going to explode at a festival.. Right.. About... Now.
Jimmy Danger sends 360 degree lick shots whilst Komander Ground fires off rounds of TNT with ‘Bombs Like This’. If you ever wanted a definition of merky, this would be it. Imagine full inspiration of early 2000’s jump up, crushing production techniques and relentless energy and you have this one summed up in an instant.
Sending for raw dogs with ‘The Wolves’. A combination of tonal assault, Clipz influences and pure hardstep beats. Somewhat of a different flavour for 2018 and no doubt a refreshing one! It’s not often an EP will showcase a variety of production styles so to switch into something like this is not only brave but also pretty bloody clever.
Wrapping up ‘Bombz’ with further ruffneck vocals from Jimmy Danger in the form of ‘Shiva’. This one is ruff, rugged and raw with a tough and snappy bass riff that will bang around the club relentlessly. End of days soon come? Certainly not in the form of Brexit.

Audio Danger Records welcomes back Trauma DBC with open arms from his previous release as part of the HYDRA EP (Part 4). Hailing from Cambridge, England, UK, this guy has been on our radar for a while and sure to make some big moves in the near future. Having been part of the scene for 2 decades now from DJing and driving artists to promoting his own events, running a label and producing, this guy has done it all and got the tee shirt! Trauma DBC is now focusing his spare time on producing and mastering his craft. He offers his first solo release on Audio Danger in the form of this 5 track EP titled Disgusting. A fusion of D&B dance floors styles, delivered with a old school mind set with future production techniques 

The EP kicks off with Below Zero. The sci-fi content with in the vocals set the tone of this dark, funky roller, explaining the theory behind the renowned D&B sound. Twisted mid range granular synthesis and intricate shuffles generate the most of this track thats bound to liven up the atmosphere at event dance! Secondly we have Brain Funk. With psychological analogies on how music affects the brain as the theme, this minimal techy roller blends perfectly in to most sets. An old school, Ram Records style, extremely intense bass ensures that this track will get your spine rattling in the rave! The title track of the EP is a chunky banger with punchy kick drums, a piercing snare and a weighty reece bass line that growls at the listener like a predator ready to attack. With high energy vibes from the drop, instant uncontrollable head nodding is unavoidable when hearing this track, no matter where you are! Next we have Rising at Dusk, track 4 off the EP. A horror movie feel from the get go sets the vibes for this track as it develops in to a twisted grungy monster that devours everything in sight. Not for the faint hearted. This is for the head strong ravers out there. Last but not least we have the amazing Jaxx's remix of Visitor From Space which we saw as part of the Hydra EP (Part 4). With more sci-fi themes at work here, Jaxx is able to bring the destructive beats to a fusion with an inter dimensional vibe that tells a story of chaotic space exploration. Haunting sub bass lines and chunky mid stabs guarantee the listener will be beamed up to the next level.

TRAUMA DBC - DISGUSTING EP CLIPS (OUT NOW)

We are very happy to welcome Monss to the Audio Danger Records, raw talent all the way from Slovakia. Here is the LP mini mix to wrap your ears around! 

22’ is an album all about feelings, no matter how you want to enjoy it, at least one track will take you on that all important trip to another time and space.
Have no doubt, this is a mixed bag of treats from the UK based label with something for everyone. Take for example ‘Curry’ - a tune so jump up it could literally shake off every Reebok Classic in the basement with its arpeggiated bassline that sticks in your head for hours. The VIP of ‘Moment’ gives the genre a thrashing, whipping up the lighters with it’s mechanical low end drive and wicked little vocal stabs.
Both ‘Direction’ and ‘Fogjoy’ present to your ear a fully polished rolling sound. Sneaking in elements of 2019 and dragging parts of the hardstep era right into 2020. Wicked female vocal shots linked with a ton of risers that certainly reinforce whatever experience you’re after from this. These are both aimed at the one finger salute gang. ‘Premium’ flips the script somewhat and merges between the lines of rolling jump up and tech step beats, a tune guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
Monss links up with Master Error for ‘Fire Gun’. A tough as nails collaboration that can be described as nothing short of madness. Check ‘Dinosaur’ if you’re after something of a half tempo vibe, just make sure you have a spare speaker stack right in front of you.
Plenty more to mention here, however, the best thing you can do is stream the whole project from front to back and hijack a few in the process. DJs - you know the drill.
